Everything! Location is great, easy to find and easy on public transport. Charming authentic hotel with great and clearly very popular restaurant downstairs. Staff were warm, welcoming and friendly. Room was clean and comfortable, basic, but we knew that. We ate in the restaurant and the food was excellent.

The clock tower nearby chiming from 7am to 10pm was irritating in the early morning but not a huge deal

Location wise it was very good, just next to the Meggen Schlössli bus stop, clean room, very nice privacy and security. Very friendly staff. Overall quite a nice stay.

Room size could have been bigger. Beds were not very comfortable. We got two single beds, instead of one double bed.

The property is close to Luzern and the lake. The free parking was convenient.

our room was right next to a bell tower and it would ring for a minute sharp at 7 and on weekends at 8. it also rang every 15 mins between 7-10 every day so I now understand what other reviews meant.

The owner made us feel very welcome. Really good value for money Bus stop outside the door to Luzern town centre - no 24 Breakfast full continental with refills if you needed it. Would definately stay again

We really liked the owner of the property. He was most helpful with tour ideas. The food in the restaurant was exceptional. We would stay at this location again.

The only thing we were not ready to experience was, the bells ringing from the bell tower starting at 7:00 am.

Pleasant staff, nice room. For a budget room, this was really good. Comfortable beds, nice shared outdoor area. Having a bus stop across the road that took you straight into town was convenient. I liked how it was so quiet and peaceful

Would have been great to have a kettle in the room for tea

Staff were very kind and helpful. The place, although dated, was spotlessly clean and tidy. Lovely grassed area too. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel which guests can visit for lunch and dinner. Great quality food and handy as Meggen is a little bit out of Central Luzern. Nice, peaceful location near the lake. Some nice places to explore in Meggen too. Wifi was reliable. Bus stop very near to the accommodation. Easy to get to Luzern.

Breakfast was ok for us. Just bread and a croissant with spreads and coffee. Nothing wrong with the breakfast, but we felt it was very overpriced when compared to other hotels we visited in Switzerland which have a larger spread for the same, if not cheaper price.

The location is perfect, which is like 15 minutes from Lucerne station by bus. The room is decent with all the basic needs. The restaurant is amazing with delicious food and very friendly staff.

We loved everything about our stay and wished we had booked for longer. People were welcoming and friendly. Accommodation was amazing. There's lots to see and the church is a must!

Super ! Exactly halfway from Rome to Home,(nl) a surprisingly kind staff, ( girl on the terrace even spoke dutch), super tasty dinner In the garden. Quality-food, fresh-made. Room: not more than what you need. Slept well. Had to leave early next morning. Ira.
