Newly renovated room with great view over the lake and a narrow, walk out balcony. We were provided with complimentary snacks (fruit), and drinks in the minibar. The staff were extremely polite and helpful.

The room was small with no place to sit other than a desk chair. The small balcony is unfurnished. The atmosphere was a little formal and stuffy for our taste. The pool is indoors, which I am sure is nice during the winter but it was 30C, 90F during our visit and a cool, refreshing place to sit outdoors would have been nice.

Nice hotel with great views of the lakes, located right on the waterfront. The staff is friendly and welcoming and tries very hard to provide maximum service.

The breakfast staff is boring and unfriendly, unfortunately. Also on the table in the room there was drinking water in a closed bottle, but it turned out to have a sweetish taste without any indication on the label. The reception staff also tried this water, but could not explain the presence of this sweetish taste. This is very strange.

this is not a review for a city view room! We changed rooms due to the city view, not having air-conditioning and being quite loud on the road. The hotel is in the perfect location on the lake. Lake rooms are a lot better than the City View, which are right on the street. Our room was beautiful and we left the door open all night ( although there was A/C) and it was quiet and cool. The bar is very nice as are the restaurants on property. The gentleman who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. We needed to change rooms for our kids due to the City View being warm and a bit loud and he was very accommodating and help us find another option.

Historical hotel with the modern equipment. Especially friendly staff, solving your requests. Coffee machine in the room with 3 types of capsules,including decoff. Tea and teapot. Tablet with all hotel services there. Renewable Water in the room, with welcome fruits. Car parking service, car was ready before check out w/o reminder. Pretty big inner swimming pool, with the small sauna. Pet friendly! Even for the big dogs!

Bed lining could be more comfy- blankets are not very cozy

This hotel had the 'Wow' factor. We were given an upgrade and everything was absolutely amazing. There was a personal, handwritten note welcoming us to the hotel. We were personally escorted to our room and shown around. The staff were absolutely nice and helpful. The location was very close to the main train station - which was great for us. I will always remember my stay at the Grand Hotel National Luzern.

Our stay at the Grand National was magical. The view from our room made our entire stay worth it. Truly, every detail was perfection. The room was fully stocked with bathroom necessities, waters, snacks, beverages and a hand-written note. The breakfast at Juliette was amazing and a great value. My husband enjoyed the spa, pool and sauna. This was great rest spot in the middle of our long holiday across Europe.

View of Lake Lucerne and Les Alpes! Room was huge and gorgeous! Everything from elevator to room to bathrooms to pool were clean and as expected- beautiful. About 10-15 easy walk to Old Town. 15 walk to train station- literally just across the lake but one needs to walk to a bridge to cross the lake… Pool is large and the hot tea and cold infused water poolside was special unexpected trear

I wish the pool was a little warmer and had a jacuzzi type area … but it’s quite large with some very powerful jets!!!

I thought it was over price. We paid a lot of money and expected a bigger room.

Only a small detail but the safe is in a wardrobe but on the floor so not so easy to access.

Location,lake view comfortable rooms,breakfast,the bar,the restaurants,the hotel’s staff . The hotel staff was very kind and helpful, especially Ms. Merve Karaçomak took great care of us and helped us and made suggestions to make our trip a pleasant one.
