The location was excellent - only steps from the lake front where there is a beautiful pathway to walk along. The room had recently been renovated and was nicely decorated. There was a fan available which was needed in the heat. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. One of the breakfast team was great at giving us ideas for trips!

The lift didn't work on the day we arrived and when your room is on the fifth floor...but they took our cases up in the service lift luckily! The reception and breakfast room decor need updating like they've done to the rooms.

I had a single room which was simply and effecticely designed so that it felt open , with adequate storage .There was tea,/ coffee maker the room which was great.r The bathroom was bright and good size for a solo traveller. . There was no noise from .the street at night. The staff were pleasant abd polite. . I checked in early and as the room was ready I could move in straight away . The breakfast was a good, with freshly baked delicious bread.

Great location, central but not too busy. Interiors just renovated with style. Very friendly staff at the reception. Coffee machine with Nespresso capsule free for use directly in the room. Beds were comfortable enough to let us sleep well. Despite some problems (see below), good value for this price (120/night for a double).

Building not well insulated, the room got cold in the night and was not so pleasant. The windows have also a very poor sound insulation and we could hear traffic noise from the street. Breakfast offering minimal and the non-sweet selection was of poor quality.

Location was perfect, so close to the downtown core and Lake Lucerne and it's promenade. The breakfast to start your day was excellent, offering a good variety of breakfast items. The staff was very attentive to one's requests.

I really liked having my room on the second floor, so that I could use the curved staircase to get down to the lobby. The only problem in the room was the tiny sink in the bathroom. There was a shelf just above the tiny sink, so to wash my face I had to slide my face sideways above the sink. Really inconvenient!

Central and convenient location for exploring the city, 8 mins on foot to train station, good breakfast and very good coffee (despite of long waiting for it)

Cleaning has a lot of work to do, dust and hair in the corners of the room, under armchair, mould in the shower makes the overall impresion very sad. A long waiting for a coffee lady to bring a cup of coffee at breakfast, didn't even bother to ask for another one... maybe self service with the coffee as it is with the other food would be more convenient for all

Very large junior suite. And quiet even if on a busy street. Super clean. Staff is wonderful. Location is perfect! Near shops, near lake, near lion monument, near restaurants. Everything is just around the corner.

The bathroom/ shower has a glass see through door! So you need to be super comfortable with whoever is travelling with you! The room is only made up late afternoon but if you are out all day it’s fine. Coffee machine doesn’t always work.

My stay at the Hotel Luzernerhof was excellent. From my arrival to departure, the staff went out of their way to help, and were extremely helpful, welcoming, friendly, and professional. The hotel has an excellent location, perfect for a stay in Luzern. I would recommend the hotel to anyone visiting the city. Thank you.

The room was very clean, and we got just the room we had wished for. Breakfast was good and the staff were super nice. Location was good.

The hallway was a bit dirty and the wi-fi didn’t work in our room which was located at the far end of the hotel. We thought the Wi-Fi didn’t work at all and went to McDonalds to use the wi-fi. Later we noticed that it would have worked in the lobby.

Comfortable rooms, very friendly staff. Lovely location and excellent value considering its proximity to the lake. Good continental breakfast.

At night the streets are like a race track with young men revving and racing their cars. Nothing the hotel can do about this but it was not easy to sleep with the noise. Perhaps we should have had ear plugs with us.
