Location was best. Near all that you could need: Supermarket, fastfood, shops, designer brands, bus to the train station. They also provided a mini heater and kettle upon request. Bed super comfy. Shower was on the small side, but good enough to get things done. Good water pressure, too, and it got warm quick. Many towels to use + many places to hang your clothes. I like the terrace as it offered a good view and the sound proofing was nice. You can also probably borrow an umbrella, but I didn't need to as I had my own. Overall size of the room was just enough for me + two big bags. I also got some decent ground workouts done, though in a really tight space.

I didn't take the breakfast because 20 Francs was too expensive for me. There was also major road construction when I stayed and it took place right under my room, but the soundproofing helped dampen the noise to "not so loud" levels. My real nitpick is the way their heaters work. I get cold easily if temps are below 20C, and their installed heater seems to only run at below 17C. It's why I had to request for a portable heater. You can always wear something thick to sleep, but I'd rather sleep with one layer.

We were proposed a room with awful smell of cigarettes in old building. After we complained they changed the room. New building is much better.

It’s in the city, close to train station and all shops. Room is clean and nice view on the balcony.

Wish we could have slippers, shower cap, soap. It’s very helpful when you’re travelling for short stay. Otherwise the rest was good.

The balcony and the view of the city from it was great. The location of the hotel was great, close to Altstad and lake attractions. Nice bakeries and choclatiers around. Close to the mall where we parked our EV and charged. Hotel provides a discounted price for parking. Staff was very friendly.

The room sound isolation is not that good. So if you are unlucky to have people that like partying in their room next to yours, you are going to hear them very clearly.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Check in very easy. We were able to leave our bags with the front desk when we checked out so we could continue exploring Lucerne. Beds were very comfortable for three of the four of us.

Like many tourist hotels, there is no AC in the room. We arrived during a heat wave so the room was very warm until the sun went down around 10:00 pm (22:00). There is a fan that helped when the window was open and once the sun went down so we did have a good night's sleep. Fortunately, we were in a very quiet room with no outside noise to disturb our sleep when the window was open.

The hotel is located in Luzern Altstadt. There are many restaurants and shops nearby. It is only a 15-minute walk from the train station and the pier. A local bus stop is located in front of the hotel. The staff were friendly. We arrived before check-in time and left our luggage there while we went sightseeing. They took our bags to the room once it was ready. The hotel provided a complimentary coffee and tea machine. A tower fan is also available in the room for guest use.

The water in the bathtub drained slowly. We mentioned it to the staff. It was improved the next day.

It is well located, the breakfast was nice, the staff were very helpful and kind, and everything was very clean.

My room had a but of an odd smell, like cigarette smoke mixed with lemon-scented cleaner. It was odd, but not extremely off-putting.

A very nice hotel within walking distance of the railway station (800m) or take No. 1 or No. 19 bus from the Railways Station to Lowenplatz Bus Stop being 1 -2 minute’s walk around the corner from the hotel. A handy ‘Coop’ Supermarket at Lowenplatz also. Good location for walking to all the major tourist sights. Our room (Triple Room), was not overly large but accommodated a double bed + a single, a desk & chair, wardrobe & small round ‘coffee’ table. We had a small balcony + street view (through to Lake Lucerne / Alps) BUT quiet with the double-glazed windows closed. There was no air-conditioning but a fan was provided however as our stay was in April, we did not need to use the fan. Our room was clean & the bed comfortable. Central ceiling lighting was a little dim but with the tall lamp + 2 bedside table lights on, all was OK. Pleasingly a foldable luggage rack was provided avoiding having to constantly bend over to work out of one’s case on the floor. Prior to arrival, communication with the hotel staff was fine & reception staff helpful & friendly. Upon check-in, we received ‘Visitor Guest Cards’ for the duration of our stay, giving us access to ‘free’ city-based public transport which proved to be a great saving. The hotel had a lift / elevator & breakfast available for a fee.

** No 2nd chair. Only one chair provided in a room for 2 people – 2nd person had to sit on the bed. ** The room had several ‘sets’ of 2 or 3 Power Points together. However each ‘set’ had a power point being used ie for either the TV / tall lamp / bedside table - the plug/s from these appliances then impinged on the remaining power points, making it very difficult to insert an international adapter – we managed but only just. ** On arrival we had difficulty logging into the wifi but this was sorted within a few hours. ** Suggestion: A retractable clothes line over the bath / shower area would have been appreciated.

- Good location. About 10-15 mins walk to the train station. Good bakeries nearby. Close to the tourist attraction Lion Monument. - The hotel sent out the Lucerne Visitor’s Card day before arrival which was a nice touch. - Great service. I arrived early and they were happy to store my luggage whilst I explore the city. They also transferred the luggages to the room when it was ready. - The solo room had a balcony which was quite nice. - Internet was good.

- Poor sound insulation. I can hear noises from the room next door.

Clean and simple hotel with a decent location. I liked that the balcony door could open all the way to cool off. The front desk staff were very helpful with recommendations and advice.

The bed wasn't very comfortable. It wasn't bad but the shelf by the headboard was in a weird place for such a thin pillow. It's a bit of a noisy location if you want to go to bed early but nothing earplugs couldn't solve. The shower handle was not very well designed, the metal heats up to scalding so be careful not to bump into it.
