The location was great. We booked 2 rooms for the family of 4 and our kids liked it! The room was clean and beds were comfortable

The check-in process could have been little better. All the companion details are given in booking.com and that could have been copied to the Hotel's check-in kiosk. I had to enter all mine and my wife's details again , 2 times for 2 rooms. So the check-in process took 15 minutes! The process is simple but since we need to enter all the details again and again, we felt little annoyed. The details could have been brought from booking.com

The location and the cleanliness of the room and the bathroom were exceptional. Also, I must say that the daily housekeeping service was thorough and superb. The weather was very warm, and as such, I enjoyed and appreciated the well-functioning air conditioning in the room. Lastly, the hotel gave me a 'Visitor Card' that provided me with lots of discounts and free transportation within the city (Zone 10).

The fact that there was no breakfast service provided by the hotel. Maybe the hotel can consider this in the future. Also, the room was not entirely soundproof because I could hear noise from another guest in the next room. But overall, I will stay again if I visit the city in the future.

The location of the property was great, very close to the lake and centre of town was within short walking distance. The room was very clean, bed comfortable and shower was good. When messaging staff they were responsive. Self check in and check out was easy enough, I would recommend and would stay here again

There was building work going on next door meaning we were woken up early (7am) by continual drilling the two days we stayed, but this seems to be temporary and not the property’s fault. However, the property have issued me a 50 CHF refund which is much appreciated.

Apartment is in a great location easy walking distance to lake, train station, Chapel Bridge, Lion Monument, Old Town, restaurants and shops. We booked 3 rooms and all were super clean, beds were very comfortable, linens/towels high end, great shower and toiletries. Self-checkin was pretty easy…recommend doing pre-checkin before arrival. Although no staff on site my questions were answered very quickly via WhatsApp. I would stay there again and recommend to others.

The hotel is near all facilities and within walking distance to train station. I walked to and from with a 12kg rucksack no problem. The room a double was spacious. Everything was clean. The hotel has no staff so can't comment on that. That was okay. Contact via Whatsapp was very efficient.

We only had two paper cups to use with the kettle. After 3 days they start to leak. Perhaps plastic beakers would be more sustainable. Would be useful to know what type of wall sockets are in room so can bring right adaptor. Swiss have either flat or recessed sockets and can be fiddly to find an adaptor that actually works.

New building, with very new rooms , including automatic window ! Very nice bathroom and shower as well. Easy and efficient check in and check out . Also easy to communicate with the hotel through chat ( as there is no receptionist ) . The location is excellent . For sure I will stay there again when I come back to Luzern ( and I will because the city is amazing!! )

Just two opportunities to get even better : The first is more important and is related to provide the possibility to store the baggage when arriving earlier than the check in time or when living the city later than the check out time . The second is just a nice to have which is to have sockets in the bathroom and near bed . There is enough sockets in the room, but not well positioned , and specially in bathroom to use the hair dryer ( maybe the other room have it . I was in a single room )

The smooth check-in and check-out processes

There was absolutely nobody to attend to my problems. As an example, the Television set in my room was not working just because the cable TV connection or whatever the input to the system was, was actually disconnected and the cable was lying on the floor. I tried to connect it to the TV but I couldn't do it due to various reasons. I sent a message to the property using my Booking.com application but nobody even bothered to respond!! As a result, I couldn't watch TV even once during my stay.

Good location, contactless although check-in was a little confusing when I didn't receive the front door code, but was able to call and get help.

My bathroom didn't have a door, only a curtain, and there was lots of construction going on right outside during the day so I didn't want to open the windows much due to noise and lack of privacy. But it seemed a temporary situation.

Location, cleanliness.

Impersonal, yet still a bit pricey. Having to check-in twice. Once before I arrived and then at the door. In spite of this, my room was not ready by a few minutes. Would be nice to allow for early check-in and late check-out. Or even a place for guests to leave luggage. Maybe less important, hooks in the bathroom for towels.

The location was great. We walked to the property from Luzern train station, which was nice and short. Easy to follow check-in and out online. Timely response to my questions and concerns. Love the fridge and kettle in the room.

The signage at the property was a bit confusing. In all the email and messages it all stated "Union Light...", but the sign on the street is "Glandon x Guesthouse". Mugs in the room would be very appreciated.
