The staff were incredibly friendly and the room felt nice and clean with an incredible view. Some of the smaller things like providing free drinks in the minibar and welcome water/champagne (I think) at the front made it feel like they weren’t trying to nickel and dime you. Also, fhe beds were incredibly comfortable. We intended to look up the brand but forgot! While although a bit outside of Lucerne, buses come frequently so it did not feel like a hassle getting around. We’d definitely stay again if we find ourselves in Lucerne.

While although the Sunset Bar across the street was great, the hotel is quite close and the music could be quite loud which wouldn’t be a big deal under normal circumstances but it isn’t great if you’re jet lagged and wanting to sleep early. Also, some of the other guests could be quite loud as well but that isn’t the fault of the hotel.

Hotel Seeburg is about a 10 minute bus ride from the main downtown tourist area. The bus stop is immediately in front of the hotel and a local public transportation pass is included with the room. The room was modern and had a Nespresso machine and pods for coffee lovers. The bathroom was very nice with a tub / shower combo and outlets for curling iron or hair dryer. The lake is directly across the road with a large park like area that is actually a restaurant. We had a dinner of pizza and drinks after scanning the QR code on the table and placing our order on the phone. There is a large park area within walking distance, but it's far enough out of down town that you will have to take the bus.

Fantastic place just near the city and by an impressive “Sunset Bar” and access into the lake. Delightful breakfast and restaurant accommodations. You will pay for convenience there. Would be nice if there were more perks for that to guest.

Bathroom was a little small. Wish there was a little more room in there but they added that space to accommodate for a larger room in general. No AC in room, know the season time you are going when visiting.

The fan in our room didn’t work, we did report it to front desk but it didn’t get repaired. I had a bit of trouble getting help from staff when requesting a couple of wine glasses for our room they told me they were all too busy, eventually the receptionist grabbed a couple for me. The breakfast was quite nice though limited choices, staff at breakfast time were lovely.

Lovely location, we had a view of the beautiful lake. Short bus ride to the town, the staff were very helpful and the room was clean and functional

The only negative was the road outside is quite noisy if you have the windows open. However there was a fan so you could close the window which reduced the traffic noise considerably

- We loved the location. It is outside city center but close enough to get to by bus. The bus stops a few meters from the hotel. - Guests get free travel pass within Lucerne for the whole duration of their stay in the hotel. - The room has a balcony with stunning views of the lake, Mt. Pilatus and the alps on a clear day. - We were very early for check-in time but we were able to leave our luggage in their locker room so we still got to explore Mt. Pilatus without our luggage. - Daniel from reception helped us out with transport details on how to go to Mt. Pilatus from the hotel.

- For the price, the rooms don't have AC and the fan provided is very dusty. - Room was not very clean like they forgot to vacuum the floor or something but the rest are clean. Just not the floor. - lift is very tiny. Can only fit like 3 people.

The view from the room and restaurant is amazing! The staff is friendly, helpful and always there for you in case you need anything. The rooms are clean, spacious, with the incredible view of the mountain. The internet is working in entire building with no problems. Breakfast is good as well. Overall everything vas perfect for us and we will come back for sure!

Friendly staff, ready access to a car park (€15 a day) and water front location only 3km from Lucerne city centre. Free public transport pass with bus stop outside hotel, so easy to get into the city or walk along the lake front.

Relatively small room, albeit with a small walk in robe, but having 2 suitcases there was little room.

Spacious room and bathroom. Balcony towards the lake. Fantastic location. Very well connected to Lucerne city center by free( provided by the hotel) public transport.

The hotel staff at the reception could have been a bit more communicative. This was the first time I experienced a hotel receptionist not telling me during checking-in which way to take to go to our room.

View of the lake and Mt Pilatus from our bed - Amazing. Staff, Daniel and all others were so kind and helpful. Food at restaurant was first class, I had the beef cheek and veggies. Easiest bus ride No. 24 in and out of town, bus stop right outside hotel. Highly recommend.
