This was my second stay at this hotel, and once again it was a very nice experience. The hotel is located 15 minutes' walk from the train station, right next to the lake in the middle of town. The staff at reception were extremely friendly and efficient. The WiFi was rock solid. The hotel spa is nice and well equipped. The breakfast buffet is above average.

Only two minor issues: one was the lack of air conditioning in my room, which would have been a problem had the air temperature outside been only a few degrees warmer. The second very minor quibble I had was with the steam room in the spa, which didn't have a lot of steam in it.

I almost like everything about this hotel , super friendly reception, and thoughtful design for the guest . Free minibar , free coffee and free spa area. Breakfast is small options but have everything I need . The location is amazing, face to the lake and the view from the room is so beautiful. Many nice restaurants around.

The pillows are really not comfortable, we have to ask another one , however they are still not comfortable, either too soft or too hard . The Spa area is small , not a problem for us because we went in a low season time , however it can be a problem if you plan to come in a busy season. Sauna are need to naked.

Very good location, mini bar included, nice coffee corner, delicious menu in restaurant, easy parking.

"Breakfast lady" visibly showed her dissatisfaction when we sat at the lake side table which wasn´t clean yet. After 20 minutes she was equally unsatisfied with another couple who sat at the lake side table before it was clean. I understand that in "perfect world" she would wish to first clean the table before every new guest occupies the table but in reality people have paid for a lake side hotel and if you see someone move away from the table you want to ensure your spot as next to who is sitting there. Two similar situations just in 30 minutes, later we talked with that other couple and they also felt treated unfairly.

The view from the room was fantastic, size of executive double room was good, access to SPA and jacuzzi and availability of drinking water, fruits, tea and coffee throughout the day

no air conditioning, with temperature reaching over 30 degrees in summer, the hotel needs to have some sort of air conditioning for rooms, repetitive breakfast with such a small spread, we were fed up of eating the same egg/muesli combo for 5 days. The 2nd double room was much smaller.

The hotel was excellent. We had a room with a balcony and lake view which was beautiful. The receptionist was very knowledgeable and friendly and gave us a history of the hotel. The breakfast was excellent with a huge choice. We booked a table for evening meal and the catered for lactose and gluten free options. The food was delicious and they had a very extensive wine list. The complimentary whirlpool, sway bed and relaxation area and refreshments were excellent. Thank you for a great stay.

We stayed for one night in Executive Twin Room with lake view, I highly recommend this room for its good size and breathtaking views of the lake it offers. Hotel staff arranged a separate bed for my 9 year old upon request which was very convenient for us. Room has all the amenities one could expect including free mini bar. The views are so amazing that they have made a provision to enjoy it from the Bath as well. We loved the SPA facilities such as Sauna, Hot tub etc. The hotel has a grand interior with multiple sit outs and relaxing places in the corridors. We didnt have dinner in the hotel however the restaurants looked quite elegant. Breakfast spread is wide and also offers live counters to for custom Egg dishes. Open and wide parking is offered for free just besides the Hotel.

Nothing much to complain except a minor input for the pillows on the bed which are very thin and I couldn't sleep well because of that, but its a personal preference

Mario gave us extremely warm welcome when we checkin, and the thorough experience of our stay was so beyond expectation： Our room was next to the room where President Bush stayed. It had a big window facing the lake which allowed us to oberserve the double rainbow appeared in the early morning. Strongly recommend everyone who comes to Brunnen to stay here, especially the lake side room.

Location was lovely and beautiful view. Staff were very nice and helpful, especially Marcel. Would recommend this place to all.

Bathroom had an ongoing sewerage smell, unsure what caused it. Very hard to use bathroom even upon return to room and airing out the room.

Wellness area was great, the staff has been very helpful and kind. The breakfast is excellent in terms of quality and selection.

minibar selection limited, room and bathroom size limited. The bar allows smoking and the smell flows into the hallway. The Kitchen of the restaurant closes at 10pm, also on saturday night, it would be great to arrive to 11pm.

Gorgeous and relaxing environment on the lake.

One of the rooms did not get dark and was difficult to sleep, despite long curtains, but they were thin. The other room had electronic exterior blinds that did block light. Also, there was no air conditioning in the room which also made it uncomfortably hot being Summer.
