Great location in an old villa. A lot of space for 2 people. Great host with exceptional local knowledge and tips. Very close to the Riga and Goldau train station and the Goldau Zoo. Free parking nearby.

The mattress is near the end of it's life. It is a bit sagged. Still good enough to sleep on, but might annoy people with a bad back. Oh, and it helps not to be afraid of dogs. The host has a big but very friendly dog. We didn't mind at all, and as I said, the dog was great, but if you are afraid of dogs, you might want to notify the host beforehand.

This BnB is sensational, we booked as we wanted to stay close to climb Mt Rigi and we are glad we did. You immediately are welcomed by the lovely owner Erika, who takes pride in the Villa and wants to make it a truely wonderful experience. Erika gave us the local suggestions and an personalised itinerary for the three days we stayed in Goldau. Without her suggestions we would’ve missed, Brunnen and Lake Lauerz which are both close by. The house is also magnificent, over a 100 years old and a real treat. I would highly recommend a stay here and if you do, give yourself 4 days at least to explore the area. With the easy connections from Arth-Goldau (train station, 5 minute walk away), the surrounding regions are all very accessible. There is a lot history to the town and Villa itself and we were quite charmed by the church bells nearby. Thank you Erika for a wonderful stay!

Great stay in a 1903 old villa with a lot of charm and history. Thank you so much Erika for your very warm welcome and hospitality. Thank you for sharing with us the story of your fantastic villa. Thanks to all your attentions, we felt like at home. Not to forget to mention your helpful sightseeing and restaurant recommendations. Don't change anything. Relaxing in your beautiful garden with Gordon was so nice. We'll not forget our stay. "Et war Tip Top - merci villmols".

We loved the evening church bells. In addition, the flowers around the villa were magnificent. Our host was very knowledgeable about the area and things to see and do.

The property was wonderful. Only more time there could improve the stay.

Small town Goldau and a house over 100years old, both are very lovely and clean. Wellcome drink, fruit, snacks, brekkie, and recommendation with some good place to go, everything made us feel warm. Erika is so nice, sweet and helpful, can't forget our two hours talk. We definitely will stay here again when we visit middle part of Switzerland again!!!
