We had a wonderful 2-night stay at Hotel Schweizerhof Luzern. The location is excellent—within walking distance to many shops, restaurants, and attractions. Check-in was smooth, and special thanks to the concierge Sebastian, who was extremely helpful and friendly even before we arrived, assisting with reservations and local info despite our language barrier. The breakfast buffet was varied and tasty. Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the housekeeping staff were very friendly despite limited English. Overall, a very pleasant stay with excellent service and a great central location. Highly recommended!

I travelled for work and only stayed one night. Mistakenly i booked the wrong date however the staff was excellent and corrected my booking immediately. All staff was friendly and helpful, the room was fantastic you are immersed in luxury from the moment you walk inside. Breakfast was fantastic with enough choice and high quality food. When leaving we received a small gift bag with water and chocolate. The location is perfect, everything is within walking distance and when leaving the hotel you are immediately in the beautiful city centre. Definitely visiting again!

Spa shut and lots of renovation work going on but we weren’t made aware if this until after we had paid.

The room was amazing. The view from the balcony was extraordinary. The space was more than enough, and the bed was comfortable. The shower was perfect, and the amenities were plentiful, including a Dyson hair dryer. They provided two bottles of water every day, even though the tap water was drinkable. The location was excellent, making it easy to walk everywhere. The bar was spacious, and I liked the cozy atmosphere. The staff at reception was the most helpful and cheerful person I have ever seen.

Breakfast was not included in the stay, so you need to pay for it separately. There were two options: an open buffet and an à la carte menu. The prices of the meals on the à la carte menu were quite high.

The location was amazing. It’s facing the lake. The train station is few minutes walk away. The shopping street is right next door. A lot of eateries around the area.

The breakfast buffet spread was average. If you are a vegetarian then there nothing apart from breads and cereals at the breakfast buffet. I wish there were multiple restaurant options inside the hotel offering different cuisines.

We booked for 2 nights for a river view room and put a note that it was our honeymoon. We got the most beautiful room on top floor with a wonderful decoration on our bed and a stunning view to the river and the mountains. We even received a cake with the Happy Honeymoon note on the plate and a beautiful letter from the hotel. The location was a top notch, close to everything within a short walk and the view to the lake was a million dollar. The breakfast was great with sparkling wine included even though we didn’t drink it. The turndown service was the best ever, everynight we received chocolates and a little story book with a different stories every night and they were actually tru stories that happened in the hotel over time. We couldn’t be happier and were so impressed with the whole experience, we extended another 2 nights there as we loved the hotel so much. All the staff were so helpful and friendly and couldn’t be more helpful. We will come back there in a heartbeat. Thank you so much to all the hotel staffs.

The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, and walking distance to the Luzern railway station, making our stay all the more enjoyable. The hotel itself is efficient and has provided us with exceptional convenience. The rooms are clean and cozy, and both the reception and restaurant staff are friendly and accommodating, significantly enhancing our overall experience. Specifically, the balcony with the view of Luzern lake is stunning and memorable.

In our opinion: firstly, the balcony door seems unable to stay at any angel, other than fully closed or open, which is inconvenient, especially in winter. Secondly, the breakfast is not included in the room rate, and is a bit pricey.

Everything! The concierge handled our luggage at first sight. The receptionist explained the route to our room with much patience. The space of the room was larger than expected. The lake view was fascinating. The content of the minibar that was free to enjoy was abundant. The little cakes and the bottle of nuts gifted tasted good. After check-out, we were given some chocolates and bottled water by the receptionist.

The location of this hotel is great! Our balcony looked out over the lake and it was lovely spending time out there. We ate dinner at the hotel's main restaurant which was a good experience. We appreciated being in close walking distance of the ferries as we took one to Burgenstock during our stay (highlight of the trip)!

I would have preferred a traditional king bed over the two twin/single beds pushed together - also the beds were quite firm which my partner likes but wasn't my favorite.

Beautiful elegant hotel well situated. Grand old hotel with all modern conveniences. Beautiful lobby and service was great except problems with repeated demagnetized key cards. Modern and well appointed rooms with large bathroom with separate tub and shower. Bed was comfortable. Nice little touches with complementary nuts, muffin and chocolates. Breakfast was fantastic with everything available. Elegant bar and dining room for breakfast. Nice patio outside to overlook Lake Lucerne. Overall little to complain about and much to laud. A true 5 star hotel.
