Despite being on a busy road the hotel has fantastic insulation against outside noise. The bus stop is located just outside to get into the city and was so convenient. The staff were always lovely and took time to get to know us personally. The rooms were a decent size and the provision of a baby cot was already set up. The triple room had a small fridge which was great for keeping snacks and drinks cool. There was a balcony off the triple room which looked great but it was raining so we didn't use it.

Internally the noise insulation wasn't great but it wasn't too disruptive. After hours you entered and exited via a coded door. But this was always half blocked by a cleaning trolley with linen on it, making it very difficult if you had a stroller or suitcases. There was no lift so would not be suitable for those unable to navigate stairs.

Nice hotel with free parking. The rooms can be either twins or doubles, and the staff are happy to arrange that. Good WiFi. Walkable to the city center, and right next to a bus stop. The city pass includes free public transportation, and the hotel will e-mail it to you before arrival if necessary.

Breakfast was a bit pricey for what it was, but it was good.

We enjoyed everything about our stay. Although the hotel was slightly outside the city center, it wasn’t an issue at all. We were pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary daily bus ticket, with bus stops conveniently located right outside the hotel. Even though we arrived earlier than the check-in time, the staff kindly allowed us to store our luggage and even provided the room key. This made it easy for us to explore the city without our bags and check in at our convenience.

The room was clean with all facilities in good working order. The location is good for driving as the hotel has limited parking available, although on a first come first serve basis only. The location is also good for public transport as the bus stops are just outside. The family rooms are only on the top floors of the building and the building has no lifts. This came as a bit of a paradox as families as a group are most likely to need lift facility, whether it be due to older people travelling or young families with strollers, etc. The road outside can also get quite busy from early on in the day causing a fair bit of noise if the windows are open.

Can’t understand why this hotel is only a two star. Based on that and the price for the area I was expecting a step up from a hostel, but the room was fantastic. A large double room with a spacious bathroom and a private balcony terrace. Everything was clean and there was a kettle/ hairdryer to use. Fantastic access to public transport with a bus stop literally right outside. The staff were also exceptional! Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.

My only complaint is that there is quite a bit of noise at night between the local church bells ringing at all hours, other guests being noisy (which isn’t really on the hotel) and the water pipes are loud when ever someone flushes even in another room. This is only minor though as I should say I usually sleep in silence so might have only been a problem for me.

Great value for money. Spacious clean rooms. Good storage space. We had a room which nice big windows looking over the street with nice views. It even had a balcony where you could sit and eat a meal and chat while looking out over the street.

I assumed the 30 CHF breakfast would be a proper cooked meal. Turns out it was a buffet with croissants, meats, cheeses, pastries and you had to cook your own eggs. Anyways, the food was still really yummy

We liked the friendliness of the Manager Samer, who was very welcoming and friendly - what was also impressive is that he speaks 6 languages so there are no problems in making yourself understood! He was kind to let us check in a little earlier and helped us with our luggage to the room. The hotel has on-site parking which is great, and the bus stop right outside the hotel, which takes you straight to the city centre, using the free transport card (which Samer kindly organised for us on our arrival). The room was spacious, and the beds were comfortable as well as the pillows.

Excellent location and a very spacious room for a family of 5. Great and easy check in. Samer assisted us and was an absolute delight. I had a rough flight and he gave me words of support and encouragement. Excellent customer service and willing to help and assist with all enquiries. Great bedding and shower easy to use with a spacious bathroom . Small fridge and added bonus. Didn’t have breakfast as leaving early but could see a great spread available with a great sitting area. Walking distance to Lucerne and walking past some great restaurants. Supermarket close by and parking available

Room got a bit warm however there was 5 of us in the room.

The hotel was in a great location, right next to the bus stop where most of the buses were going to downtown area. The hotel itself is cozy with friendly staff. The room was super clean with all necessary amenities. Highly recommend for those who are looking for a place to stay for a few nights.

Not exactly a thing that I didn't like, rather the thing that has a room for improvement. Breakfast was within the European hotel standard, but for 18 CHF per person, one would expect that it comes with hot dishes or ham/cheese that are not too tiny pieces.

The room was nice, clean and quiet. The location is right at the bus stop to the city center - keep in mind that you get a voucher for free transportation around the city (and discounts for many more). The hotel is reasonably priced compared to other hotels in Switzerland. What really made this stay special was the staff! Samer at the reception is such a funny and cool guy, made us laugh and feel welcome. If we ever return to Lucerne, I would stay here again.
