Very convenient location, a short walk from Luzern train station with plenty of dining options nearby. Room was cosy and clean for a family of 4 adults. Staff was super friendly and welcoming, and we loved the breakfast (simple but the breads, cheeses were so good!)

We were staying on a section of the top floor and needed to climb a short flight of stairs to access our room. Perfectly okay without luggage, but might be worthwhile to check with the hotel.

We arrived quite late at 22.30 and it was locked, but by chance someone helped so we could get the hotel key and room key. Fast check-in process. A restaurant with a healthy menu and seems expensive in Indonesia because of the organic raw materials. The location is close to strategic places such as stations or museums. We got a fairly large room on the top floor in the attic with one master bed, one sofa bed and one queen bed. So it's perfect for the five of us. Nice view from the attic area.

The property is walking distance from the Train Station and bus station. It was very convenient to go around in buses and trains. The property is near the beautiful Lucern Lake where we could stroll around in the evening. The staff were cordial and friendly. Ready to help us with all our queries. The rooms and the hotel were clean and comfortable. Very nice breakfast too with good variety of fruits and juices.

When we checked in, we were given a beautiful attic room with low roof height. Anyways, as my husband is claustrophobic, we requested for change in room. Also, we had to carry up our luggage up 7-8 steps to reach the room after the lift. This was not informed to us earlier and as we were on a long holiday, we were carrying a lot of luggage. I had booked the room after checking that there was a lift in it. So was initially a little disappointed. We got a very positive and immediate response. I really appreciate that. We got a corner room, better than the first one but not the best. Appreciate that our request was immediately addressed and our concern taken care of😊😊 The breakfast was nice and tasty but could have added little more variety in hot serves.

Hotel Central Lucerne is a fantastic choice with an unbeatable location just steps from the train station and bus stops—perfect for exploring the city! The staff is incredibly warm, friendly, and goes above and beyond to make you feel at home. The rooms are surprisingly spacious, spotless, and exude comfort with top-notch cleanliness. A perfect blend of convenience, hospitality, and comfort—highly recommended!

We felt right at home at Hotel Central in Lucerne, where we spent a peaceful and unforgettable New Year's Eve holiday. The hotel has a modern design, with impeccable cleanliness throughout. The bed was extremely comfortable, with high-quality pillows, and linens. Its location is unbeatable—just a stone's throw from Lucerne’s train station and the iconic Chapel Bridge, in a very safe and tranquil area, much like the rest of Lucerne. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. Despite facing travel delays and arriving late at 11:00 PM, they stayed in touch with us and ensured an easy check-in process, even though the reception desk was closed at that hour. Breakfast was rich and satisfying, although it could have been perfect with the addition of a warm dish like scrambled eggs or sausages. We enjoyed the variety offered each morning. We also loved that the room was perfectly warm when we returned from the cold outside, it was such a comfort step into a very cozy space. The staff provided daily recommendations for places to visit, which we appreciated greatly. We also loved the shared lobby and the fridge with beverages— touches that made our stay even more comfortable. We had an extraordinary time and would happily return whenever the opportunity arises. Thank you for making our trip memorable!

While the Wi-Fi was occasionally spotty in our room, we took it as an opportunity to disconnect from our phones more often, which helped us rest and recharge. When we really needed WI-FI we went down to the lobby which worked perfectly.

Hotel Central Luzern was a great stay, we had a family room which was very comfortable and lots of space for a family of four with teenagers. Hotel is only about 5 mins from the train station and a 5 min walk to the key sights of luzern. Loved that we had 24/7 access to the breakfast room to make tea and coffee/hot chocolate when we wanted to. Breakfast, which was included, was also great with lots of choice- loved the Bircher muesli.

Lift was not working on the morning of checking out and communication could have been better about this, including the alternative lift and how to locate.

The location is ideal, close to everything in the old town, surrounded by restaurants, shops, and other hotels along with the beautiful historic buildings. Bed was comfortable but very soft. Bath great, room comfortable

I really like having a kettle in my room. Yeah, they had one at reception with both coffee and tea (but no black or English breakfast tea) and no room fridge either. For what I paid I felt I should have had both but in no hotel in Switzerland was there a kettle in the room. My hotel in Zurich had a coffee maker and a small fridge.

Room was comfortable, and very clean. Breakfast was a continental, and was all freshly made and prepared; with plenty of options. Location of the hotel was perfect. Literally 60 seconds walk from the main station, and two minutes from the river, and the Old Town. Perfect for a couple of days of either work or vacation.

Bed was little hard, and there were no ammenities in the room; i.e. no tea or coffee making facilities. There was no iron immediately available either. I didn't need one on this particular trip; but had I needed one, then perhaps reception could have helped. These are very minor niggles though, and should not be seen as a detraction to staying here. I will be visiting again early next year, and will definitely be booking again.

We received a warm welcome and explanation about the use of free public transport. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice, including fresh fruit every day. The coffee was excellent and it was possible to use the machine at other times of the day and to store drinks in a communal fridge or buy those on offer. The bedroom has enough storage space for a week's stay and the bathroom was always cleaned. The location was excellent for using the train station, buses, ferries and for restaurants, all within easy walking distance.

The lower rating on "comfort" was because it was a warm week and there was no air conditioning. With the window open there was too much noise to sleep and when we closed it and used the fan provided, that was noisy too.

The location was excellent. It really is Central to everything to see. Less than 5 mins walk from train station. Very easy to find and very close to all the tourist places. The breakfast was excellent, better than I expected. All the food was from Switzerland incl choice of cheeses, cold meats, salads, fruits, cereal, variety of breads, yoghurt. There was a 24/7 dining area for hot and cold drinks and free apples. Everything was clean. You can open windows for fresh air. 2 nights were not enough to stay in this hotel and to visit Lucerne. All the staff were friendly and efficient. The friendly reception lady recommended two restaurants and they were great!
