Great location across road from Stanserhorn. Breakfast was a great start to the day. Bed comfortable. Despite my negatives we would stay there again Restaurant across the street is fabulous Easy walk to train station

Pillows are very flat and uncomfortable. The shower constantly overflows. The bath mat needs to be bigger Bath towels are small. Wifi constantly drops out and when it does work is very slow.

Room was very clean and comfortable. We arrived towards the end of the afternoon, therefore there was no one to receive us. However, we got clear instructions for the check-in process, so it was relatively easy and smooth to check in. Breakfast is really good, plenty of options and good quality overall! The lady that is in charge of the hotel is super nice and welcoming! Parking is just across the street and easy instructions for payment. We stayed here to go to Engelberg so it was quite close and easy to get to as well.

Just a small suggestion for improvement, as during the evening the hotel has no staff on site, there should be some support items available (such as cutlery) as we sometimes brought food to eat in the room but there was no cutlery available for us, and no one to ask to.

The friendly service and superb location. The breakfast was one of the best we’ve had!

We got locked out of our room the first night. Fortunately, they answered on the emergency line and we got it resolved. Wish we could have been warned about the lock situation before hand but we understand things happen especially as tourist that are not aware of what the norm may be.

Beautiful, cozy rooms and very convenient location. Breakfast was great and coffee very good considering it was from a self service machine.

The rooms erected very warm, we needed to open the windows to sleep and were often woken up by cars passing by. There is a lovely lobby and lounge area but it closes very early. We would’ve loved to spend some time there after dinner with our co-travelers.

Very well maintained hotel, excellent bathroom, very comfortable shower. Nice bar downstairs, great staff! Short walk from the train station.

The single rooms are very, very small. Very well equipped, tidy and clean but small. If you don't need the room during the day, this is absolutely fine. The train line is running directly behind the hotel, it does not go frequently but until late.

We loved the friendly staff, the comfy rooms/beds, the beautiful view and the fantastic breakfast! Hard to find a reasonably priced boutique hotel in Switzerland: this is the one! We are definitely coming back! (We are not based in the UK, despite review saying so: we're based in the Netherlands)

When we arrived (late due to traffic), the check-in was effortless, but, unfortunately, there was no food available. A light snack from the bar (which was still open) would have been lovely after a very tiring journey. No other restaurants in the neighbourhood were open - except Burger King (which the kids loved ;-) ). Also, the rates are quite high but this is normal in Switzerland. This is also the only reason why I indicated we were less impressed with the value for money. Not the hotel's fault: Switzerland is expensive in general. And this is what you need to pay to get the hotel/rooms we are after.

Location was perfect for us. Sightseeing in the village and cable car 20 mtrs from hotel. Lovely cafes and restaurants very close. Train 2 minutes away allows easy access to Lucerne which 20 minutes away. Room was spacious with a fridge.

No kettle but we’re allowed free coffee all day In reception area. Bit noisy from upstairs room.

The host was incredibly helpful. She spoke very good English and even gave us some coins for the car park as we had no Swiss Francs having come via Euro countries. Really lovely room, comfortable bed, great shower, lovely appointed boutique hotel room with mountain views. Very good quality breakfast with lots of choice. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, would highly recommend and would love to return.

It would have been helpful if the hotel restaurant and bar was open but we didn’t know it was a bank holiday and we were helpfully directed to a very good local Italian restaurant so all good. Nothing else to fault at all.

Newly renovated. Everything new and well designed. Dynamic, responsive staff. Breakfast was unbeatable. Comfy beds. Excellent location right near train station and centre of town. Also liked the scenes of Switzerland around the hotel which along with other aspects of our stay, made it a big part of a beautiful Swiss experience!

Buddha bar on main floor. Not a great feel when came in at night but it seemed to only be on Saturday night and we didn't hear anything from our room.

Very nice staff and neat room. Our room had a hot tub (of course we had paid for it) and it was very warm, nice and enjoyable. The hotel is very close to a few good restaurants and the train station.

There should have been a trash can inside the room apart from the one in the bathroom. Also, the water took quite long time to heat up, but it's understandable in this season with this exceptional temperature.
