Our recent stay at Boutique Hotel Stanserhorn was truly one for the books. From the moment we arrived quite late in the evening after a long journey, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, who made sure we felt at home right away. Despite the hour, they were accommodating, attentive, and kind, which set the tone for the rest of our visit. A special commendation goes to the team at Anouk, who went above and beyond when we encountered an unexpected issue at a nearby petrol station. Their willingness to help, their calm guidance, and their genuine care made a potentially stressful situation much easier to handle. It’s rare to experience such a level of personal attention, and it did not go unnoticed. The hotel itself is charming and thoughtfully designed, with a relaxing ambience that perfectly matches the beauty of the surrounding landscape. But what truly makes Stanserhorn stand out is its people. Their hospitality made our trip all the more meaningful. Highly recommended both for the stunning location and the exceptional service.

Great location across road from Stanserhorn. Breakfast was a great start to the day. Bed comfortable. Despite my negatives we would stay there again Restaurant across the street is fabulous Easy walk to train station

Pillows are very flat and uncomfortable. The shower constantly overflows. The bath mat needs to be bigger Bath towels are small. Wifi constantly drops out and when it does work is very slow.

Room was very clean and comfortable. We arrived towards the end of the afternoon, therefore there was no one to receive us. However, we got clear instructions for the check-in process, so it was relatively easy and smooth to check in. Breakfast is really good, plenty of options and good quality overall! The lady that is in charge of the hotel is super nice and welcoming! Parking is just across the street and easy instructions for payment. We stayed here to go to Engelberg so it was quite close and easy to get to as well.

Just a small suggestion for improvement, as during the evening the hotel has no staff on site, there should be some support items available (such as cutlery) as we sometimes brought food to eat in the room but there was no cutlery available for us, and no one to ask to.

The beds were very comfortable and we were very glad to have the air conditioning during the hot weather. The hotel is also in a quiet area and is very close to the train station.

We never figured out how to get the hot water to work in the shower. Thankfully, it was very hot outside so we were able to take colder showers. The toilet also rocked back and forth, which was a bit unexpected.

The friendly service and superb location. The breakfast was one of the best we’ve had!

We got locked out of our room the first night. Fortunately, they answered on the emergency line and we got it resolved. Wish we could have been warned about the lock situation before hand but we understand things happen especially as tourist that are not aware of what the norm may be.

Beds were extremely comfortable . Toilets were clean and had good water pressure . Less than 5 mins from the train station but very quiet . The receptionist was extremely helpful and let us keep our bags at the hotel after checkout . The availability of a lift was convenient.

Beautiful, cozy rooms and very convenient location. Breakfast was great and coffee very good considering it was from a self service machine.

The rooms erected very warm, we needed to open the windows to sleep and were often woken up by cars passing by. There is a lovely lobby and lounge area but it closes very early. We would’ve loved to spend some time there after dinner with our co-travelers.

This is an outstanding property. Modern, tastefully decorated and comfortable rooms. A very warm welcome and a great location - right by the trainline for visiting places like Luzern and Engelberg.

Perfectly clean, furnished with style, friendly and helpful staff. Definitely will come again, despite of the noise of the nearby passing trains. Appreciate the early check in.

Very well maintained hotel, excellent bathroom, very comfortable shower. Nice bar downstairs, great staff! Short walk from the train station.

The single rooms are very, very small. Very well equipped, tidy and clean but small. If you don't need the room during the day, this is absolutely fine. The train line is running directly behind the hotel, it does not go frequently but until late.
