Very accommodating for our late arrival and keeping our dinner reservation. Food was delicious. Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast room is 200 years old and very charming.

Hot foods at breakfast were an up charge. Included breakfast items were just breads and jams with juice.

Good location, easy to get to Lucerne (beautiful place to visit). friendly staff especially the lovely lady serving in the breakfast room. Things to be aware of: it’s an old building and every single floor creaks! There are multiple churches nearby and they start ringing bells at 5am. Being an old building there is no air con and so it’s very warm - to manage temperatures you’ll need the windows open but then the church bells might disturb you.

Our stay here was phenomenal. The employees and owner were fantastic and gave us great tips for hiking nearby. The breakfast and the restaurant downstairs served lovely food. The room itself was cozy and clean with a beautiful view overlooking the mountains. Alpnach is a wonderful location if you wish to be outside the busyness of Lucerne. It’s a beautiful and quiet area however still very accessible by the train.

The staff are a true credit to this place, they are so friendly and very welcoming, the hotel is in a decent location and the food is excellent

My only criticism that I know the hotel cannot change is the church bell directly across from the hotel that chimes loudly every hour, this means it’s impossible to have the windows open at night and it becomes stuffy

The best breakfast in this planet. The ladies marie in breakfast area so nice and friendly, she prepared good breakfast and always smile and friendly. I really enjoyed breakfast in this hotel. The vibes so good. The location of the hotel also nice and got free parking.

I don't like the sound of the crack when people upstairs make a move or walk. In the morning or night time the sound too loud and very annoying.

Alpnach Nord is a very cute village with a grocery store and pharmacy very nearby. They close by 7pm but, a little further, there is a convenience store that stays open until 10pm. Modest, but sufficient, breakfast of breads, cheese, fruit, yogurt, musli, juices, and coffee is provided.

I would recommend staying in one of the higher-floor rooms. The floor above my room creaked a lot as people walked. Although Alpanachstad is where the Mt. Pilatus cogwheel begins, this hotel in Alpach Nord is one short train away.

What a wonderful spot I can’t recommend enough! The rooms are very cute and cozy, the restaurant is absolutely fantastic, and walking around the area is just so lovely!!! It felt like a fairy tale. The staff was very nice too!

A nice yet simple room in a typucal alpine hotel, ok location close to Pilatus Bahn. Very nice, helpful and flexible staff.

Opposite the streer there’s a church that seems to have a habit of lengthy bell shows at 5 AM… Quite expensive, but well, it is Switzerland after all :)

The hotel location was great. The food and service were very good. The staff was friendly.

The hotel was wooden and old, so there was a lot of noise in the rooms above and below with every walk. It was very convenient that the hotel collected empty bottles and garbage in the morning.

The staff are so lovely. The room was big on the top floor. Close up the station for sightsee and park and ride into Lucerne.

it was very hot during our stay and we had to have the windows open all night. Unfortunately, the church is right opposite and the bells seemed to ring alllll night! Very warm room in the roof too.
