I loved the location and the view, the spacious and comfortable room. We had a balcony with lovely seaview. The hotel has two restaurants by the sea: One a la carte and one pizzeria. There is also a wonderful Thai restaurant just ten steps from the hotel. Also a great surprise that we could take a public boat to Luzern and to Alpnachstad (the station for Mt Pilatus) from right outside the hotel.

The only thing is that the staff in the a la carte restaurant seemed a bit confused. Couldn’t find our table reservation, brought wrong drinks etc, but they were all so friendly, and the food was great!

Staff was very friendly, very helpful except for one.

They advertise a hot tub, then when you get there, you’ll have to pay an additional fee for each person. Very friendly staff there was some art on the wall, announcing a list of people that we weren’t exactly sure of the translation it happened to be one of my cousins max Hermann and we got a really negative rude response when we inquired kind of made it very uncomfortable, needless to say, we never got the answer. And through miscommunication, we thought that my cousin was deceased found out that he was not. Had the person been a little more helpful I could’ve may have reunited with the cousin from my family‘s hometown since 1300 don’t know where his attitude had come from, But it was just not appreciated not comfortable sad that he felt so entitled to be so rude.

This hotel was amazing and so pet friendly. We had a nice room with a view of the lake surrounded by the marina and tennis club. Easy to manage with our dogs. There were plenty of staff to help out with questions about parking and other details that only happen when traveling. Breakfast was lovely and we were able to eat outside and enjoy the morning sunlight as it came over the lake.

Absolutely perfect and hope to come again.

Everyone at the hotel were extremely courteous and warm. It was a pleasure meeting them . Especially appreciated the ,on the house,coffee, tea and water at the reception. This is a true luxury in Europe The Location is exceptional. It was quiet and serene, yet accessible to the major tourist spots. I am definitely coming back again.. Special thanks to Jascha and Kay . Sorry if I got the spellings wrong, but they were so kind and thoughtful.

The hotel is very convenient for visiting Luzern as it's within walking distance to Stansstad Bahnhof and is situated right next to the ferry pier. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful.

There was some roadworks going on outside the hotel and that could go on for some more weeks. However, our room was very quiet when we had the windows shut.

Good Location, nice views and gives a very luxurious but vintage vibe. Rooms were very comfy and homelike. Had a upgrade to a Junior suite which was amazing!

In my case the door to the bathroom was towards the entry of the room but the bed area was the complete other side. You had to walk around the whole room to get to the bathroom. Breakfast options felt somwhat limited nevertheless they were good

We stayed with friends and absolutely loved everything! The location is fantastic, situated on a less crowded side of the lake, making it ideal for a multi-day stay to explore Lucerne's destinations. We were also very impressed with the excellent service, the cleanliness of the rooms, and the helpfulness of the staff. This is truly one of the best affordable hotels in Switzerland!

Lovely hotel located right in front of the beautiful lake of Lucerne. Special atmosphere in particular at sunset - the lake is spectacular. The restaurant is facing the lake view and you can eat outside. The staff is exceptional, extremely kind and caring. I have arrived early in the morning and they did their very best to prepare the room prior the actual check-in time. The hotel is close to a supermarket and a lovely café-bar with bakery and restaurants. It is also close to trekking routes in particular the one along the lake which is absolutely great. The room I stayed was very spacious, comfort and quite with a terrace. Modern look and exceptionally clean. Highly recommended.

Excellent location a short walk from the station with great Lake and mountain views. Lovely large bright rooms. Fabulous breakfast with selection of continental options plus really tasty bacon and egg with delicious bread choices.

Nothing. Except maybe the road resurfacing works at the time but not really an issue as was not facing them.

A lovely hotel, with friendly and helpful staff, in a beautiful lakeside location. A 16-minute train journey from Luzern and well worth it for the lakeside views and its proximity to Stans. Try to get a room with a balcony and a view of the lake. Breakfast is very good. Its adjacent pizzeria was warm and welcoming with a lovely smell of woodsmoke and the best pizzas I have ever tasted. Good choice of starters and desserts too. Very highly recommended.
