Nice hotel in the outskirts of Luzern. Bathroom is small, but the shower jet was great! We were also glad that there were 2 separate matrasses, because they were a bit on the soft side. But we slept well. Breakfast was great: fresh fruits, cheeses, good bread, etc. We especially appreciated the kindness and attentiveness of the lady from Venezuela who works the breakfast shift. We visited Luzern from here by bus, because we preferred to stay in a quieter place than in the city. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel entrance. It's free of charge, with the tourist pass that you get from the hotel. Super convenient, because parking is expensive in Switzerland. Parking at this hotel is free of charge.

The bathroom is very small and lacked hooks to hang things. Also in the room there weren't enough hooks to hang your clothes, towels, etc. Also, the room really needs mosquito screens in front of the window. But the manager, a very kind and accommodating man, by the way, told us they have already been ordered, so next time that should all be fine!

The room was very comfortable and quiet. Small sitting area was nice and surprising to find skylight with shades that were power controlled. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast offerings were delicious, plentiful and fresh. Tried restaurant for dinner on first night and were blown away, so we ate there the next night too. Parking lot is across street, easily accessible and plenty of space. Location worked well for getting into town. Bus stop in front of hotel. Easy drive into town.

Nothing we disliked. Some may find lack of shops and other restaurants in immediate area to be disappointing but we were happy with location.

The Manager Ivon was extremely hospitable - from the moment we stepped into the hotel, he guided us on what to do in the neighborhood & was super helpful in catering to our smallest needs. The location was excellent - it was a quiet neighborhood with beautiful views. We loved the mini-golf in front of the hotel and the escorted that we could borrow from the hotel for moving around the neighborhood.

Everything was great, but if i had to make a suggestion for improvement - the blanket covers were a synthetic mix material which just made the experience a bit compromised. Also, this hotel makes sense if you have your own vehicle.

A lovely friendly hotel with a warm welcome. Our room was at the front with a view of the mountains and was very clean . Good soundproofing as no noise from neighbouring rooms even though the hotel was full. Coffee making facilities in the room but no kettle. This was provided on request together with a carton of milk. We were initially apprehensive about the location as a little out of town. However this was not an issue as there was a regular bus service outside the hotel which takes you on a scenic route into Luzern in 20mins. We called this the Beverley Hills route into Luzern. The bus runs at least every 30mins until late and takes you into the centre of Luzern and the train station. The hotel had a restaurant attached and we enjoyed drinks and a lovely meal there. Hotel ideally located for the cable cars at kriens, the mountains and Luzern.

The mattress was quite firm but this is a personal preference rather than a complaint.

The hotel is in a peaceful neighborhood, and the rooms are clean and spacy. The owners and the staff are really helpful and thoughtful. We had to arrive really late, and because of holidays we had to leave at a time when the reception was not able to handle our tourist tax payment. On both occasions, they were really helpful and respectful. The location is also right in the middle of many places one might want to visit in a Switzerland tour. About equal distance from Zurich, and Lauterbrunnen. Lucern itself is a prime location, and the Hotel has exceeded my expectations considering the amount I have paid. A price/performance winner for sure. If I come to Switzerland again, I will not search for a hotel, I know where to stay :)

If you are looking for some action to happen around the venue, this might not be the place for you, but if you are looking for privacy and peace, this is the place.

Good confortable room. All amenities like coffee maker, fridge, soaps etc were provided. Clean room. All fixtures excellent. Was easy to get there from train. Just walk across to the bus stop and catch a bus which stops few steps near the hotel. The name of the stop is Felmis Hotel so its easy for all. Good breakfast. Organic eggs as boiled or scrambled. Various kinds of cheese. Nuts, Coffee. Non-veg spread was in ample quantity, For the Indian vegetarians there are various kinds of breads, butter, fruits, cereals etc. The hosts are very friendly and i recall Patrick waiting for me to arrive at 10 pm to personally hand over the keys. Here the reception closes at 8pm or so and they give u a code in case u arrive late. They offer pre-checkin details in their website to be filled in. Opt for the breakfast package always.

The bathroom lock & key can be changed to an easier one. The present one is a but tricky and difficult to open if someone goes inside and locks it. From India point of view to the indians: There is no room service. There is a restaurant downstairs where you can order food but they dont serve indian foods. I really dont have any thing i dont like. Felmis is a hotel i would love to come back again and again.

The breakfast was very nice. We did not try the restaurant in the evening but from the look of it I expect it would have been very nice. It feels like the restaurant is the main business of the place. It was very nice to have parking just across the street. They also have a charger where we could have charged our Tesla, but we had enough battery so we've chosen not to. They've also had free electric scooters that the guests could use, but in our case it was not possible since it was a bit rainy and was not the best weather for scooters.

A small and pleasant hotel located in a pastoral village called: Horw, adjacent to Lucerne, less than fifteen minutes drive away. For those who do not have a car, there is a bus stop right in front of the hotel entrance that goes to Lucerne's main station and is free for hotel guests. For car owners, the hotel offers free parking. The hotel staff is very nice and helpful, the rooms are relatively small, but well equipped, clean and comfortable. The shower and bathroom are spacious, and the beds in the room are comfortable. The breakfast is very good and varied. All in all, this is a very good value for the price.

The reception is only open until 20:00, and if you arrive later you need to inform the hotel in advance to receive a code that will allow you to take the key out of a box located at the entrance of the hotel. The hotel does not have a pool, spa, or gym.

We were in Room 14 on the first floor. It is a corner room at the front of the hotel with a large balcony at the side. We didn't hear any road noise. The room was clean & spacious with a large, comfy bed, 2 comfy chairs + table. The shower was powerful. There was a safe + a fridge. We didn't use the coffee machine as it was pods. Air con worked very well. Breakfast was buffet style & all fresh. Staff were very friendly & quick to refill any items. We ate in the restaurant on 2 evenings. The food was very good, fresh + homemade. Restaurant staff on the first occasion were friendly & attentive. Plenty of parking across the road but bus stop is directly across the road and No. 21 goes to Lucerne every 30 minutes.

During our second visit to the restaurant there was a party of people whom the Manager obviously knew + was very attentive to. He would attend to other tables as well but this appeared very tokenistic - he came to our table twice + asked if we needed anything after our dinner? We asked for more drinks but he never brought them. We gave up asking in the end + decided to go elsewhere.

Spotless room, comfortable bed, staff that went above and beyond, in-room fridge, wonderful included hotel breakfast (great selections), and delicious onsite restaurant with great food and service. Plus the FREE bus tickets to downtown Lucerne and back.

If I had to nitpick, the bedrooms and main hotel spaces were very overheated. We tried turning down the thermostat in our room, but to no avail. Kept waking up in a pile of sweat. Only thing that helped was keeping the windows open. They would also run out of croissants before 9 am every day. They were obviously a popular items and Felmis should have responded by ordering more croissants. We were twice disappointed during our three day stay.
