The hotel location is exemplar and gives one of the most scenic views you could ever experience. Staff were all so friendly and helpful and couldn’t do enough for you We ate at the restaurant and the service and food was superb and again the staff so friendly and helpful with advice on what we could do locally. Cannot recommend this hotel more. First class hospitality and service. Highly recommended and a first class hotel

Restaurant and bar was closed on Tuesday evening but as we had eaten during the day at Lucern we had a relaxed evening with a bottle of wine or two watching the sun drop over the lake from our balcony of our room. Not to be missed

Very spacious room, nice comfy bed, a terrace with view on the lake. Quite close to the highway, so ideal as a stop-over on the way to Gottard tunnel. Very friendly staff at the reception & in breakfast area. Everything very clean. Breakfast was nice.

Clearly all about proximity to the lake, but a bit isolated from everything else. The restaurant was closed when I was there, only 1 other restaurant walking distance, so a bit stuck for food. The balcony is nice, furniture there could use a make-over.

In a welcome note the manager said "welcome to our little paradise by the lake" and it certainly was. The view was perfect, the staff so so welcoming and the perfect location for touring the area (we even got as far as Grindelwald on one day trip). Our breakfast each morning was lovely and really set us up for the day. The hotel has a beautiful garden to relax in for morning coffee or an evening drink. we only had dinner once in the hotel but it was superb, I would give it a food guides star!! Finally and to mention the staff again, they made our perfect stay a fantastic stay.......thank you so much.

This is a lovely hotel in a stunning location right on the lake. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. The staff were all very pleasant and friendly. Getting to Lucerne and the mountains by bus was very straightforward, the bus stops are about a 10 minute walk away.

Great choice at breakfast. We came back from our day out in Lucerne around 5pm and weren’t hungry for dinner so asked if we could order a sandwich and some fries, Daniela and the kitchen staff were great and we had this in the bar, later Daniel the owner came through and spoke with us and other customers which was a nice touch. The view from our balcony was beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. There’s a regular bus service into Lucerne after a short walk from the hotel, which is free with a city pass.

Not far from the city.About 4 minutes walk to the bus stop..I got tickets for the buses from the hotel during my stay..That's what l call icing on the cake.

Such a stunning location overlooking the lake! We were so fortunate to be able to take a leisurely breakfast on the terrace in the sun, too, even though it was mid-May. Although the restaurant wasn't open, the staff on reception recommended and booked, on our arrival, a great meal for us five minutes walk further around the lake. Wonderful attention to detail. Wished we'd stayed longer! Also loved our day in Lucerne.

The breakfast was the same every day. It was okay. I had enough to eat and I do enjoy scrambled eggs and some sweets to start of my day. The only issue is the last day I went down for breakfast later around 9 and it was pretty empty like I had to ask the server to bring more food. So if you are a late breakfast person that might cause some annoyance but maybe I got unlucky this one time. The view is absolutely stunning and I couldn't get tired of it. I appreciated the tea kettle a lot and the mini fridge. The bed and the pillows are very soft it was okay for me but some people might dislike that. If you are doing public transportation, do keep in mind that it's not in the center of Luzern and you do need to walk a bit (10 minutes to the bus and 18 to the train station normal pace).I already knew this cuz I like to check all that before booking a hotel and I don't really mind walking. The neighbourhood felt safe and it was a pleasant walk every time. I enjoyed my stay and I will be coming back for my birthday in winter time.

Not much maybe just make sure the breakfast is ready for late breakfast eaters. Other than that all was well.

Great view of the lake, good food in the restaurant, delicious breakfast, overall a nice stay and a nice place, very cosy. The room was big and relatively comfortable.

The cleaning personnel was very loud while cleaning the rooms, talking and laughing non stop (we could hear them from the room, we could not rest). The (many) mosquitoes on the terrace. The mattress was a bit too soft for my taste.

Property was located little away from Central Lucerne, but very convenient to reach the property thru public transport. Surrounding of Hotel was quite calm (away from traffic noise). The property has amazing view of Mount Platuis. I would recommend to pick lake view hotel, if you are staying for 2 nights or more. We found property bit expensive. But we enjoyed ourselves staying there.

I believe, price of property was bit expensive, if that could be better. Otherwise staff was quite freindly.
