The hotel is in Kastanianbaum, one of the most beautiful neighborhoods of Lucern. The bus takes us literally to the front of the hotel and there is a bus every half hour or less, so you can easily come in and out with the bus it takes only 12 minutes to the city center and there is a shopping mall that you can also reach with this bus. Now, the hotel is also neighbor to a boat station and there are at least 2 boats that can take you in and out of the city every day and directly to the hotel. The hotel has direct access to the lake where you can lake swim during the summer and the view from the restaurant and the room is simply amazing. You can have a very priviledged view from the lake. Lucern is a beautiful city, with lots of attractions for all the tastes. It is good to live and amazing to visit. And this hotel is a very good pick if you wish really to enjoy the lake view and the lake swim and also get to know the city.

For the 3 days I was there, the hot tube was not working and the swimming pool is not warmed. For the level of the hotel, which is otherwise simply amazing, I guess the pool should have warmed up water or at least they should have repaired the hot tube. They extensively advertise the hot tube and it was not working. In any case, all else was completely amazing including the breakfast, the lake beach and lake swim.

We loved the view. It was breathtaking from our balcony. I requested a good view as it was my wife’s 40th birthday and they massively provided.

The view is second to none, it is a shame that the hotel is a little dated and in need of modernising. there is no air-conditioning in the rooms but we were fortunate that it was not too hot when we stayed. The outside areas are beautiful.

Stunning views & wonderful staff! The hotel was clean and modern with everything you need at your fingertips. Having the bus that takes you into the heart of Lucerne right out the front was so convenient and having the ferry stop at the hotel was also an excellent addition. You cannot beat the incredible views that Switzerland has to offer right in front of you. All of the staff we encountered were so kind, welcoming and helpful! We could not recommend this wonderful hotel more.

The only downside we had was that we had multiple mosquitos flying around our room on night two. However, this was our own fault for having the door open for some fresh air all night on our first night. Staff were accomodating as soon as we told them and they provided us with a couple of mosquito repellents for the room.

The hotel is sitting right on the lake front and has a gorgeous view. We have lunch at the hotel, the food was great but pretty expensive. The hotel room is kind of tiny as well. The location is kind of far from the train station. We have to take a 20mins bus ride from the train station to the hotel. But u get the drop dead gorgeous view because of the location. But there is no shops around, only the hotel facilities.

No air condition. It was hot in the room and we have to open the window to sleep but the bug came in. With the money that we paid, I feel like the hotel can do more even the air condition wasn’t build in. But I find out a lot of hotels in Switzerland has no air condition except by the airport.

The view was fantastic ! Loved every second spent there. The private entrance to the lake was EVERYTHING, had a nice dip in the lake, absolute bliss. the hotel is about a 15 minute bus ride from the city, and the buses are frequent so not bad at all. overall it was fantastic. Will definitely book again.

They could use better pillows, they were too flat, and a cleaner coffee machine. Had to request for some amenities, which I wish they already kept like the electric kettle. The price I paid was worth a breakfast but it was not included unfortunately.

I loved the location, the views. I loved the spa area, where water, tea and fruit is made available. The weather helped for our couple of days by the pool and we had an amazing time. Food was amazing.

Service at dinner service. It wasn’t great and there seemed to be tension between staff members. Food was fantastic, but really rich and it was warm in the terrace. We were keen to pay up and head inside, but it took us going up and asking to pay for us to be able to pay and leave. The staff were lovely otherwise.

The hotel is on a quiet part of the lake with stunning views over the lake and mountains. We enjoyed lounging in the pretty garden and swimming from the beach. The staff was friendly and professional. The food was excellent although the menu is limited. The room was very spacious with a small balcony. The en suite was small but with a great walk in shower. The room was not air conditioned but was a comfortable temperature. I have some mobility issues and walk with a stick. All parts of the hotel were easily accessible although the steps down to the beach were a bit tricky. The ferry stops outside the hotel and there is also a bus stop right outside. We loved our stay here and have no hesitation in recommending it.

Everything excellent If you staying in Luzerne this hotel is must. Amazing breakfast, good enough room size, amazing lake side view, great pool, hot tub, sauna and steam bath. Loved our every day in hotel.

Everything was perfect but as its lakeside and lot of trees I guess lot of flying insects like mosquitoes can enter in room, also spiders are quick to form nets around balcony its better to close doors before evening Not sure if hotel management can do anything about that.
