We loved the view. It was breathtaking from our balcony. I requested a good view as it was my wife’s 40th birthday and they massively provided.

The view is second to none, it is a shame that the hotel is a little dated and in need of modernising. there is no air-conditioning in the rooms but we were fortunate that it was not too hot when we stayed. The outside areas are beautiful.

We stayed just one night and we had renovated and modern furnished room, comfortable bad. The coffee and tea in the room. Good breakfast. Lake in the front of the hotel, spa, restaurant. Accessories for the SPA

The hotel is on a quiet part of the lake with stunning views over the lake and mountains. We enjoyed lounging in the pretty garden and swimming from the beach. The staff was friendly and professional. The food was excellent although the menu is limited. The room was very spacious with a small balcony. The en suite was small but with a great walk in shower. The room was not air conditioned but was a comfortable temperature. I have some mobility issues and walk with a stick. All parts of the hotel were easily accessible although the steps down to the beach were a bit tricky. The ferry stops outside the hotel and there is also a bus stop right outside. We loved our stay here and have no hesitation in recommending it.

Friendly staff, very good breakfast, beautiful views, easy access to town with the bus stop right in front of the hotel. The biggest surprise was the amazing wellness facilities that were included. Sauna, pool, private beach and hot tub outside looking out over the lake. It did not work when we arrived, but they fixed it and we were able to enjoy it the next morning before checking out. Would highly recommend.

Loved the location. The outside spaces really make the most of this and it's a beautiful spot to sit and have your dinner in the evening looking out across the lake. Staff were incredibly helpful and service generally very good. The outdoor pool was lovely. Pretty peaceful while we were there. Additionally, guests are given a local transport pass which you can use for free bus travel. This was a great saving as we were able to make 3 trips into lucerne for nothing and I also got a discount on a couple of excursions where I was using the train/cable car.

Room was good but there was no air con and it was very warm in the room and a little uncomfortable for sleeping. We did have a nice small balcony so we left the doors open all night which helped. Overall we thought the price was a little expensive and breakfast wasn't included which cost an extra 25 euros per person.

Great location on the lake. Wonderful staff who went out of the way to help us plan our Mt Pilatus journey, to get us food after breakfast hours.

The "Hot Pot" outdoor hot tub was in a great location but was surrounded by bugs and temperature only in the 80 degree fahrenheit range -- not exactly a hot tub. Steam room wasn't available 2 of the days. The balcony view is great. Room was suitable for our needs, not a lot of extra room if you were spending more than sleeping hours in the room (but then again, why would you?).

The location was excellent for what we wanted - a few days relaxing by the lake but with easy access to Lucerne. The free bus journey of about 15 mins to the city centre was frequent and reliable and the bus stops right outside the hotel. We liked everything the hotel had to offer and the staff were extremely helpful, pleasant, and efficient.

The hotel was amazing: from the big room with lots of commodities (nespresso, tea, slippers, bathrobes, etc) to things like, an umbrella, sewing kit, skincare products (moisturizer, cotton pads, etc). The view from the room to the lake was amazing. The breakfast was really tasty with a great view and had a variety of choices. We also used the free spa which included sauna and other facilites. Lastly, we booked a fondue dinner at the huts/cabins and was a really nice experience, great service, food and views. Definitely recommend!

Nothing. Although it is not near the city center, they provide you with a free transport card and you have a bus station right at the hotel door. Just be careful since the bus comes every 30 minutes, so check the schedule in order not to miss it.

I liked the design of the place , the restaurant was nice the food was great , and the idea of the wooden cabins outside around the fire was amazing , the staff overall was really great helpful they were the best , the parking space was good too

the noises from the room next to u might be an issue if u have loud neighbors like mine .. the breakfast was okay but the same for 6 days

The lake front location is excellent, in small town near Luzern, and the view of the lake from their terrace is captivating. Watching the weather pass over the lake, the sun set in the evening, the boats passing by... it is the very definition of peace. The staff here was so nice, warm and genuine. We felt truly welcome. The food here was also excellent. We enjoyed both the sauna facilities and swimming in the lake. We stayed in the budget friendly rooms without AC and with a view to the suburb behind the hotel. The rooms were nice and the small balconies good for a bit of fresh air. The rooms weren't too hot, and the view is actually nice enough - it's just that the view on the other side is SO MUCH better than any view normally anywhere. It is clear that this hotel is loved by its staff and is taken care of well.

I can't say I really minded, but there are a lot of bees and insects buzzing around the property as it is in a quieter location on the lake. Also, the duck frequenting the swimming pool made us skip that activity due to the ongoing "bird flu" in Europe. The location is perfect for those looking for an out of the way place to experience the area of Luzern at their own pace.
