After hiking, you need this. First off, some the nicest and friendliest staff I have ever met. From reception to the cleaning staff to the restaurant to the spa. They were all consistently exceptional. The spa was worth it. The hotel provides everything but swimming suits. Slippers you could purchase for extra. The room and view was stunning. I woke up at 4am to be surrounded by clouds. The food was magnificent. And the staff member that served me for dinner adjusted meals for me / dietary requirements. It's a must stay!

They explained well how to get to the hotel when coming from other places like Lucerne. The hotel has a beautiful view, especially from the Mineralbad hot springs. The room was spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. We ate dinner at the hotel in the bar area and really enjoyed all of the food. Our server was engaging and friendly. The front desk workers were very pleasant and helpful. We had to leave the mountain very early to catch the ferry back to Lucerne. They helped me figure out the time we had to leave the hotel in order to make it to our destination in time for our pre-planned event.

The site and the sight from the rooms are clearly the best asset of the hotel, as is the early access to the spa/wellness ! Nevertheless, the main other qualities would be : the quality of the food (breakfast and dinner buffets are great but the best is clearly the menu "à la carte"), and staff from the restaurant super friendly. The beds are large and very comfortable, the rooms are well-sized and the the whole hotel is always super clean.

The staff could be a little bit more fluent in English or French, Room equipment is "essential" for the price category (...but still the view is exceptional!), There is only one elevator, fortunately the stairs are wide and welcoming, Soundproofing of the rooms could need an improvement, No thermostat in the rooms, even with the radiator shut down the room was too hot, we finally slept with an open window.

Spa is good for relaxing after hiking!

It is better for a kettle in the room for making tea!

Dinner and breakfast were excellent. The staff were extremely attentive and friendly and my daughter (17) being vegan got a delicious specially prepared breakfast including freshly cut avocado and other tasty ingredients that she appreciated a lot. Spa area was beautiful with very nice and relaxing feeling.

All very good. The only thing I would change would be the "cover curtains" between the inside of the pool area and outside which is in plastic and not up there in the same class as everything else. Would be easily and not cost a lot to replace with something in aluminium (e.g. similar or same to what they have in Vals Spa).

Our one-night stay was truly unforgettable. The spa was outstanding. The food was exceptional, with every dish exceeding our expectations, and the breathtaking view from our room added a magical touch to the experience. I would love to return in the future and stay longer, the Rigi and the hotel were incredible!

The room’s furniture wasn’t completely renovated, but the facilities were excellent, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. While the stay was on the pricier side, it was absolutely worth it for the location, food, breakfast, and spa. Overall, an amazing experience!

Facilities were incredible especially the crystal spa and outdoor pool ! I loved the cable car dropping us to the door of the hotel. But a special mention goes to the gentleman that served us beside the pool. Really welcoming and professional whilst friendly. Also the staff at breakfast and our evening meal were also incredible. One gentleman even keeping my bag safe that I left behind .

Liked everything But would have liked tea making facilities in the room.

Staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Room was very comfortable and had plenty of space for the 2 of us. The restaurant served tasty food. The spa facilities were incredible, especially since we had some wet weather so needed distracting indoors.

The dining options are confusing - you can pay a discounted rate at reception or an additional amount at the restaurant itself.

very convenient location , just 2 minutes walk way from the railway station. The room has a very good view of the mountain. The hotel located is only 2 stops of train from Rigi Kulm. It is a pefect experience to walk a bit around the hotel at the Rigi, extremly beautiful view especially in the morning and in the later afternoon... The breakfast of the hotel is quite good, lots of choices.

It's a shame that only the fancy expensive restaurant is open in the evenings. The more casual ground floor one shuts late afternoon so even if you don't want a big meal you have to go to the main one. When we were there the other restaurants in kaltbad were shut so there was really no other option
