Very pleasant staff who all made me feel extremely welcome. Breakfasts had a good range of produce, including fresh fruit and salad, and I had two very enjoyable dinners at the hotel. My two concurrent bookings were combined prior to my arrival, and I was given a nicely spacious twin/double room for the duration of my stay without the need to change rooms part way through. The travel voucher enabled free journeys around the city and gave me a 20% reduction on a mountain trip.

My room was initially too hot for comfort and I found it difficult to sleep, particularly during the first night. Obviously, the exceptionally hot weather was a problem and there was a fan in the room, but its flex was too short to be able to position it in the optimum place to be cool enough in bed. Perhaps, when there are such high temperatures, it might be well worth leaving the fan on prior to guests' arrival.....

Great location, friendly staff, peaceful locality. Room is spacious and has good bathrooms. Under 10 mins from the Littau Train station. Has a restaurant on premise and there are few eateries on the way to the train station. Breakfast is pretty good - cold cuts, cheese, bread basket, cereal, fruits, coffee/ tea and juice.

While train is the easiest way to reach - there is only hourly service. Room has limited power sockets (just one at entrance and one for TV) - hence can be difficult to work / charge multiple devices without an extension box. No amenities like iron or kettle. But restaurant gives you hot water if requested

It is a lovely family run hotel and their staff is extremely helpful. There is a good vibe there.

There was no access in the room to change the room temperature. The room was too hot, we had to leave the window open all night which doesn’t help to keep away the early traffic noise from the main road. If you don’t have a car, you need to adjust your time to the train which is very close by and comes hourly. It is manageable, though.

We took the train or bus into Luzern, which worked very well. Free local bus/train pass is provided to hotel guests. Location is pleasant in countryside. Except for electrical outlets, the room is modern. Breakfast was excellent with much choice. Management kindly offered to drive us to the train station on departure day.

Room had little storage space, we recommended installation of some hooks to hang up night clothes. There is only one electrical outlet in the bedroom. With travellers using cellphones and tablets more and more, this is a disadvantage.

Larger shower area than many European showers; window to outside very easy to use [electric blinds, and opening window for fresh air. Fabulous dinner menu, excellent food and presentation. Suggestions for easy train travel [at no cost] into Lucerne; just 2 block walk to the station

Room OK although not a fan of sliding glass door to bathroom. Parking right outside a bonus. Very good restaurant. Nearby train access to Lucerne only took 7 mins on excellent service. Staff very helpful.

Breakfast a bit thin - continental type only. Can't settle the bill at end of stay - payment in advance for room and immediately for dinners. no tea or coffee making facilities in room.

Room size, amenities, wifi, free private parking and buffet breakfast included. City transport voucher provided which is great due to the location of the hotel on the outskirts of Luzern.

Room gets hot during the day and opening the balcony door the room gets plenty of mosquitoes because the net window was broken. The bed is very soft.

We were a family of 7 (all adults), stayed for 2 nights to wander around Luzern. It was really convenient for us. About 6-7 mins nice walk to the Littau train/bus station, then 5-10 mins train/bus to Luzern main station. About the room (both twin/single), it's really so spacious (we didn't expected that big), so it was amazingly convenient for us to pack/unpack the items. Rooms were very clean, shower was so good. Staff were friendly, smiling and the breakfast was nice enough to start the morning. So we're glad about our stay.

Excellent quiet hotel in Littau about 6-7 minutes by frequent train or bus (one change) from Lucerne main station, cost of travel covered by city guest card pass. Full breakfast included. Clean and comfortable, helpful staff.

Max, his family, and their employees were very friendly, courteous, and helpful. My wife and I had Covid and Max was very understanding and found a way for us to extend our stay and to isolate. Thank you! They also had wonderful food at the restaurant.

No air conditioning. It was not too bad, but with Covid, air conditioning would have been nice.
