Very charming traditional house that is nicely restored. Restaurant onsite is excellent - Michelin standard in our opinion. Short hikes in surrounding are highly satisfying, especially the somewhat hidden trail to Renggloch water fall about 45 min away (Note: quite a bit of uphill climb)

No direct bus nor train connections. If you have big luggage, taxi or rental car is required.

We originally accidentally booked this place instead of somewhere within Lucerne. However Peter and the staff were absolutely fantastic - very accommodating and also serving some of the best food we've ever had!

Unfortunately it's difficult to get there without a car, and there's not too much around.

perfect spot to stay overnight in the region of Luzern. the restaurant is always a very good one (second time we enjoy a stay there), with fine cuisine and a very complete wine selection

We loved our stay here! It was off the beaten track, clean and tidy too. Looks to be renovated so super modern. The room was spacious with everything you need. Little bit of noise at night but ear plugs were provided. Close to Lucerne and walking tracks.

Breakfast and dinner were amazing! I'm still thinking about the croissant that I had for breakfast. At dinner I ate the trout and it was super good. The staff was super kind and available. Overall, everything was clean. The bed was super comfortable.

Maybe the rooms are just a little bit old, but it's fine according to the price of the hotel. It was good anyways.

Location was very nice. ~3km from two train stations to Lucern. Staff was very friendly and accomidating.

The window was missing the inscet screen. We has a few flies come into the room.
