The hotel is a 20-minute drive from Lucerne’s center. The scenic route features stunning landscapes, a peaceful village in the mountains, and lush green pastures—a fairy-tale setting. The hotel is a serene oasis amidst nature, though no restaurants or entertainment are within walking distance. It’s simple, beautiful, with space for corporate activities, with a ground-floor bar/restaurant. The room is small, with a private bathroom and a lovely balcony, with a fantastic view! Staff are helpful and friendly, and the hotel is pet-friendly. Breakfast is simple.

Some observations: upon entering the room, there was a cigarette smell, despite the no-smoking policy. Smoke from balconies likely seeps in, lingering in carpets and curtains. The decor is simple, furniture outdated, the bed very low but comfortable, and there’s no minibar. As a suggestion, modernizing the rooms by removing carpets and updating furniture would be the perfect touch.

Friendliness of the reception worker and restaurant staff, service was requisite. Rooms were basic clean but large. And an amazing view! Very dog friendly!

Older hotel, means common electric sockets where to small to use an hairdryer, laptop charger,… only phone charger fits. There was a hairdryer present in the room with questionable safety. (Electric wires where exposed ) Breakfast: some bread present just tastes old. For the rest really good!

Amazing location, can't do better than this in Zurich. Staff doesn't understand English super well but they are quite helpful Onsite breakfast was very convenient since everything else is at least a 10-15 min drive downhill. The family room was quite big and convenient, loved the cows grazing and visible from our balcony in the morning!

Wish dinner had a little variety and was a bit more affordable, we would have certainly eaten on site. Beds and pillows were not the most comfortable, nothing nasty - just pillows were very thin and hard to sleep on. Breakfast was nice but a bit more variety would be great esp with fruits

The hotel staff was amazing, and really friendly. Thank you for the friendly welcome everyday, and always a nice talk. It was a pleasure.

The location is superb and the room was really clean and cozy.

The breakfast was limited and the English version of the restaurant menu should be completed with the kids menu.

The hotel is excellent - comfortable rooms, very friendly staff, very quiet surroundings, plenty of free parking space. About 25-30 min drive from/to centrum of Luzern. "Come as a guest, leave as a friend" is the motto of the hotel, and for a good reason.

Location was unique and set in a stunning typical Swiss setting. The food was excellent

A very, very nice hotel in a great location for who ever likes the Suiss nature. It has a wonderful view from the room and many hiking trails all around. Breakfast was fine, the gym was surprisingly equipped with free weights and the sauna is highly recommended.
