A hotel really not far from Lucerne. The staff is extremely friendly. Great food. The breakfast is small, but very filling. Strawberries, a nice selection of cheeses. The room was very small, but for one night I definitely recommend it. I read in the reviews that the church bells or cowbells might be disturbing, but honestly, they just add to the charm. The hotel provides earplugs, but it really didn’t bother me at all. I truly think it’s fine for the price. And really, after the trip, I appreciated the welcome drink card. A glass of wine at the Pony Bar was a very nice touch.

We were a family of six whose needs were well-accommodated by the hotel staff. We were able to check in early after a long, exhausting travel from California. Breakfast was good. There was no AC, but there was a fan provided in each room. The staff is very nice. The location is ideal for sightseeing around Lucerne.

We were a bit disappointed that the onsite restaurant was not open, as we had read good reviews about the restaurant and wanted to dine onsite.

The staff make Hotel Kreuz one of the loveliest stays you can have. They are very friendly and extremely helpful.

The surcharge for the pet should be clearer. I do not mind at all that I had to pay extra for the dog as it makes sense (it is more cleaning, potential mess etc.) but the price should just be clear before. No one will have a problem with paying it, it is just nice to know beforehand what to expect.

Swiss hotel managed perfectly . Great breakfast not only according to taste but also top service . Staff super nice especially one young clever man working on reception helping with all including breakfasts very pro client focused . He will be a great manager one day if He had this hotel under his responsibility It would work great also in the future as It is doing now . Also He helped me and found keys from my car and saved me 👍 free parking also great thing . That man is extremly polite very unique personality You do not meet every day .

Malters is well located a few KM from Luzern. Super easy to access via Train or Car. The hotel is well maintained , nice personel , great breakfast and Diner. Malters has multiple options for Diner so highly recommend it if you need to stay close to Luzern , Pilatus.

Bathroom ( Toilet and shower ) was small but functional. Sink in the bedroom. But it works fine for us.

In short - everything! The hotel is family run (now the fourth generation) and I was made very welcome and helped as much as possible. I was lent a Swiss electrical adapter at no cost. Could not sample the hotel restaurant as it was closed on a Monday night but there are good options within a few minutes walk. Would definitely use this hotel again!

Friendly stuff, parking by the place. Extremely tasty breakfast. Spacious, clean room with access to terrace.

The place was right by the church as we could hear bells every 15mins, even in the night. However, ear plugs and fan were given as a comfort to this situation.

Very clean, very friendly, I had a short but great stay. I was on a last minute trip to Luzern, and enjoyed the night at Hotel Kreuz. Don't expect modern equipment, but expect a comfortable bed, a clean place in a good location, and very friendly staff. I can fully recommend this place.

There's no downside in this hotel, great quality for the price!

Room was clean and comfortable. A unique thing I noticed that there were books to read kept outside the room. Hotel is only 5 minutes walk from the train station.

Breakfast had very limited options especially for vegan/vegetarian guests. Quite disappointing.

We stayed during the 2025 heat wave. We tried to keep the room as pleasant as possible but it was pretty warm. There are fans to help (and they work well!) but it still got pretty warm.
