The breakfast is very good and the staff very very kind. The location is also great, amazing views. To go to Lucerne you need to take the funicular and then a bus, ot by car. The hotel has a great mini-golf and is ideal for hikilcking and relax.

Bedroom are very small and extremely hot in summer. They dont have AC and it is a massive miss as sleep is very difficult. Open the windows doesn't solve the issue as you room will be full of bugs instantly. Lastly, they have shared bathrooms but probably that was on me as I missed that in the description.

Absolutely stunning views, great location near Kriens (where gondolas and cable car to Pilatus leave from), comfortable rooms with lovely views and balcony with chairs and table, free minigolf and playground, free fruit for guests, ample free parking and 2 x 22KW chargers for electric cars. Last but not least, a fabulous and v reasonable Michelin quality fine dining menu in the restaurant (with wine from a vineyard we could see from the terrasse). Would highly recommend for anyone visiting the Luzern region

We arrived at the hotel around 23:00. Since the staff is leaving at 18:00, we received the room keys in the safe box located next to the hotel entrance (they provided me with the safe PW). The rooms were spacious and clean. We woke up to this beautiful view. Breakfast was basic and nice. Staff were nice and friendly. Very recommended hotel.

It felt a bit strange to have no representative (nor contact for anything you may need) once the staff finished his working hours and leave at ~18:00

The hotel is located on the slope of the mountain close to the forest with excellent walking trails. The view from the room and from terraces is absolutely marvelous. Staff was very kind and helpful. Our room was spacious, with a separate bathroom and jacuzzi - perfect to relax after walk; and we had a balcony viewing mountains and valley, and Luzern at the lake. There were fruits for guests free of charge on the table in the corridor. We had a dinner at the hotel restaurant and were extremely surprised with the exceptional preparation of the traditional food in an innovative way (Ukrainian specialties). Delicious!

The price of the food is a bit overpriced, but it's really worth to try.

The location is lovely, quiet and remote but town is easily accessible via car or by taking the funicular and a bus (which is free for guests). There is great hiking all around the hotel.

The rooms are quite small and very basic although they and the shared bathroom facilities were clean. There was a miscommunication through booking which caused some aggravation but it was resolved with some patience and calm communication by the staff. FYI if you book through Booking.com, they will tell you that the room was pre-paid but it actually is paid at the hotel and breakfast is not included.

the hotel overlooking the lucerne town from the hill, nice greenery view from the hotel, enjoying the bell sound from the cows pay chf15 for the breakfast, nice continental breakfast shared bathroom but maintained clean

the fennicular only operate from 10am to 5pm, beyond this time need to use public bus and walk on the trail, could be scary to walk alone at night constant time to refill the shampoo and body wash inside the shared bathroom, one time when i use it it was empty and need to move to other bathroom wifi very weak, can't connect at all

Absolutely everything. The staff was exceptionally friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The food in the restaurant was absolutely fantastic. The view was breathtaking.

The day of our arrival, I received an email that the reception desk would be closed when I arrived with my family and instructions for the self-check-in. Our keys were not in the lock-box as the instructions stated and the reception desk was manned. According to the concierge, I should not have received that email the day of my arrival.

The staff were incredibly accommodating and couldn't be more helpful! A nice touch with a personalised welcome letter too! The location is unbelievably beautiful. Truly incredible views from anywhere at the hotel. Especially from our room balcony! (They even provided binoculars!)

Nothing during our stay resulted in a complaint.

Stunning view, amazing breakfast with great cheese selection, very comfortable rooms, which were very close to the bathrooms! We enjoyed a lot our stay. The restaurant area is really fancy and nice!

Just a note that the hotel is located at the top of a mountain, so accessible by car basically. The view is worth it!!
