Really lovely historic building in central Entlebuch. The room decor was in keeping with the history of the building, yet was also contemporary, with a modern and stylish bathroom and big shower cubicle. The food was outstanding, and the staff very friendly and welcoming. We were able to hire bikes on site and leave our bags there for the day.

It's on a busy main road and our room overlooked it. There's no aircon in the room, so it was hot with the windows shut and noisy with them open. The only downside to an otherwise great stay. Perhaps best to stay there when it's not a hot day!

We stayed in a Nostalgic Double room and had a fantastic experience. The room had wooden walls and furniture, cute windows framed with authentic tulle with embroidery The water pressure in the shower was perfect. The personal was super friendly and the breakfast was delicious, with local products. The cleaning and service at the pizzeria on the ground floor were exceptional. We arrived by car and always had a parking space available.

We booked this hotel last minute after we had an issue at a previous location. Maya at the front desk was wonderful, staying late until we found it after getting lost - she was very accommodating and even called a local restaurant to find out if they would be open for a late night meal. This seems to be a great location for hikers and day trips into Lucerne - we will be visiting again and staying more than just one night!

There was not one thing we didn’t like, however the hotel manager should verify the directions link on Booking.com. I copied that link and it took us to a dead end road on the top of the mountain about 2km from the hotel. Probably a beautiful sight - just not at 9pm in the dark!

good quality breakfast, although somewhat limited in quantity and options. fruit juice was not the best. coffee good. we bought a carton of oat milk from the co-op and hotel labelled it and kept it in the fridge. plenty of free parking available. staff friendly and helpful

Room basic but with fancy lighting and usb fittings ( which is great because we didn’t realise we needed a different travel plug for Switzerland ) staff were lovely and friendly making sure we could park our motorbike safely. Bed comfortable. Pizza lovely but pricey same as bottle of red wine we had.

A bit over priced compared to the other hotels we’ve stayed in this trip. Thought meal and drink very overpriced. 2pizza 1 small bowl salad and a bottle of water and a bottle of red wine for €109.00. Didn’t like the smell of the hand wash in bathroom ( but that’s not a fault of hotel)

Newly renovated rooms, still keeping the charm of the classical while more modern and functional. Very kind staff and wonderful breakfast.

Rooms were very small, and no ventilation so very hot! Open window sleeping works well if you’re not bothered by street noise because the hotel is based on the main road in town.

I liked everything. I can see that during hot days, rooms might get uncomfortable, especially top floor, as there is no Airconditioning.

Such a welcoming comfortable and professional place. Food so very good. Best pizza I've had in Europe! If I come back to Switzerland I will be staying again.
