We wanted a traditional Swiss experience and we had it. This Hotel is brilliant and quite spacious. We were offered a lockup garage for the motorbike and in general we felt great! A rainy afternoon spent in the pub downstairs followed by a traditional meal at the restaurant, we couldn’t ask for more after arriving wet and cold. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Good shower, good individual beds, doubles wit a single mattress are not available 😁

The hotel is very nice and has a very good restaurant. We were, as usual, very well treated by the personnel. Efficient and friendly.

The blinds could not be lowered as the strap was broken and looked like it had been for a long while. The ventilation in the bathroom was out of order. Why not fix those things as it seems pretty easy to do so...?

We booked 2 doubles and a single over 4 nights. We picked the location to better visit various sights. The comments about the church bells are true- they start at 6 AM and end at 10 PM. The location is on a busy route with traffic noise. The staff was super friendly to our English-speaking group as they serve double duty in the restaurant. Rooms lack security safes, and the common areas are worn. The restaurant was superb and very convenient over several meals!

Mosquitos were a problem that really should be corrected in each of our 3 rooms.

Nice big room for a one night stay with free parking. They allow pets but with extra charges. We reached around midnight so instructions were provided for self checkin which was good.

Breakfast could have been better and since the hotel is next to a road you will hear noises when cars passes. Also not everyone in the staff speaks English

Nice old world Swiss hotel, lots of character. Friendly attentive staff. Restaurant food was very good, if a little pricey. Good breakfast. Easy off road parking.

The hotel is by a busy roundabout, it has good double-glazing but we were woken by loud vehicles late at night and early in the morning. Best to pack some ear plugs.

The room was comfortable and the staff were very friendly. The hotel is located in a very quiet village in the hills near Luzern. A bit out of the way but the scenery around the area is beautiful. We also had a lovely meal in the restaurant.

It's a little price but that's Switzerland really...

Overall everything was good. Nice clean room. Nice bathroom. Plenty of parking space behind the hotel.

The beds are small and narrow if you want separate beds not much room to turn around. No coffee maker in the room.

We were there just for one night during our roadtrip, but this was decent hotel, compared to others in area this was probably the best value for the money.

A lovely hotel,very friendly staff and our room had a balcony which was an added bonus. The meals in the restaurant were very good and the bus service into Lucerne was always on time.

The breakfast could have been better.

A warm welcome. Staff very helpful found me an adapter plug to charge my phone. Room was large bright and airy and comfortable. Good breakfast.

Food was good but on rather pricey
