Very friendly people! I came quite last-minute but they had my room ready. It was large with a good bathroom, very clean and a good bed. Included breakfast was way too much for one person, but better too much than too little. Free parking as well. The single-occupancy price was very good for Switzerland standards which made this perfect for me. I cannot comment on regular pricing.

It was quite a hot week and the room was therefore also warm. No AC (not expected at this price point) but also no fan, although I didn't ask. I have my own car so I could get around, otherwise I think there's buses but it's not a large, vibrant town itself.

Very friendly and relaxing atmosphere. Breakfast is not untill 9am but when requested they arranged really good breakfast as “self service”. Very clean and comfortable rooms.

Waiting time at check-in but acceptable as the staff has to take Care of restaurant and reception at the same time. All the time very friendly and relaxed staff.

Comfortable room in a separate building away from the road. Nice to have a kitchen with coffee machine available. We had a nice dinner outside as it was warm and breakfast was very good. Nicely presented in the restaurant. The staff and owner were very friendly.

It would have been nice to have a room with access to the terrace as it was so warm.

We stayed for over a week. It was very clean and quiet. The breakfast was good and everybody was very friendly.

This was our second stay here - the previous stay was four years ago - but we enjoyed it so much we booked again. It was one night while on route home after a holiday in Italy. The main hotel has an annexe behind, through a gorgeous garden - clearly maintained with love and care by the owners. The rooms in the annexe are very quiet (being away from the road), spacious, comfortable, scrupulously clean and with fine views over the countryside. The huge plus point is that the rooms share a small kitchen, fully equipped which means you can make a hot drink, keep things in the fridge etc. Each room has its shelf in the fridge. Your breakfast is put in the fridge (ham, cheese, orange juice, yoghurt, fruit, jam and rolls/croissant are delivered in the morning. You can take breakfast in the kitchen - we did - or take it back to your room. And if you like donkeys, the hotel keeps two in a field next to the annexe (they don't make any noise he-hawing!). There is a delightful young lady who speaks excellent English. The hotel offers fine dining (in the restaurant or outside in the garden). The food is excellent - we did take dinner outside that evening. The only negative for some people may be the location. Triengen is a very quiet little village/town. We liked the peace and quiet of it - a walk round the church, look at the houses and gardens, enjoy the garden of the hotel. The area is attractive countryside. It's not rip-roaring nightlife!

Perfect service, room was big with sitting area, welcome by owner was very friendly. Restaurant with traditional dishes were very tasty. Price / quality was top. Breakfast before 9 was served in room building, all was available, top service.

Our room was sparkling clean, the bed very comfortable and we had a fast wi-fi connection. Room had beautiful view over the valley. The breakfast was delicious and cooked to order perfectly. The staff was very accommodating and multi-lingual. We will stay there again when back in Switzerland next year.

Ideal location for an 11 am pickup at Zurich airport, just a 1-hour drive away, with a quiet hotel in a small village and a good, simple restaurant.
