Easily accessible due to Metro Zoo line into the city and sights. Really clean rooms with friendly reception staff. Had an upgrade to the suite on 16th floor which was AMAZING! absolutel bargain for what we paid for it!

,Evry thing was super The reception is very serious and helpful , although some of them do not speak English very well, but they use translater to understand what we need and do their best to resolve our needs. Very good Localisation, 3 mnt to real way station line n5. Transportation from the hotel to the exhibition is free and comfortable, especially on return where they welcome us with a high hospitality accompanied by food, coffee and tea. Breakfast is varied and delicious, But it does not meet the needs of Muslims. The rooms are spacious and clean. Great laundry service at no charge. Special thanks to Chen, may, wing, wander ful and Claire, they are really Kindness. If comeback again to guanzhou, it will be my hotel

Amazing stay — perfect location, great service, and thoughtful touches! I had a fantastic stay at Paco Hotel Guangzhou Zoo Metro Branch. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and kind — they allowed me to check in early without any issues, which was a huge help after a long journey. The location is perfect — right next to the Zoo metro station, which makes it super easy to get around the city. There are also plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, yet the hotel itself is quiet and peaceful. One of the things I loved most was the attention to detail: welcome drinks were already waiting in the room, and I received fresh drip coffee packs every day — such a thoughtful and cozy touch! The room was very clean, modern, and comfortable, with everything I needed for a great stay. I really appreciated the excellent service and hospitality from the staff throughout my visit. Highly recommended — I would definitely stay here again!

Our stay at this hotel was great; the staff were really helpful with all our specific requests, from getting a car hired to having patience when we lost our breakfast tickets. It wasn’t easy to find from the train unless you read Chinese, but once we knew where to look it made more sense that you just need to go to the zoo subway station and it’s across the street from the zoo’s southern entrance. Breakfast was phenomenal; there’s a little bit of everything every day, from a noodle station, stir fried smoked chicken and veg, congee and western pastries. It’s great food, beautiful view of the city from the 16th floor, and the staff is super friendly. The beds are very comfortable and clean, our rooms were all quiet, and everything from check in to check out was efficient. It does help if you speak some Chinese as it seems none of the staff are able to speak, but just use a translator app and you’re good.

The internet was a little sparse at times, it needs to be tied to a Chinese phone number to log in, but the front desk can help with that. Sometimes it needs to be reset, then the connection is fine.

Nearest metro station is Zoo station (exit B) which is a few stations away from Guangzhou Railway Station that is filled with all the great wholesale markets. There is a big ramp that you have to climb from the metro side to the hotel side which was quite tiring with large luggage and also daily. Scooters and bikes will use the same ramp to go across. The room itself was nice and had a sofa to sit at or put your luggage on. They also offer a free laundry service, you can either do the laundry yourself or have them do it for you and collect it at the laundry room. Breakfast spread wasn't that much but it was enough to keep you full until lunch. The staff didn't speak much English but they use a translator machine and it worked well enough.

There was a bit of urine smell from the bathroom drainage for first 2 days but it dissipated after that. Bed was not the most comfy and quite springy but after a long day it still was a nice enough bed to rest on.

Staff at front dest are very enthusiastic although they are not speaking english but try to use the translator to support guest. They upgrade the rooms for us instead of provide sutle bus to the Caton Fair as the actually no bus service as stated in the website booking.com. I also appreciated their recommendation on the best restaurant and helping on order the car to airport drop in last day.

Excellent location next to metro, very good system of free laundry for guests, evening snacks and coffee station. A bit repetitive breakfast when you staying for 12nights, at the end literally missed some ham, cold cuts and cheese spread, whole wheat bread, pancakes Staff extremely helpful, but only 1-2 people spoke English enough to have conversation. The rest of staff relying on translation apps. All in all, would book again for sure.

Rooms are not that well as before, cleaning is good, but the property remain older and some things can't be only cleaned but also repaired, painted, changed..For example my room 8903 was with some stains on the ceiling.Looks like there was a fire before, someone starts cleaning but did not finalize.The bath glasses are also with some stains that can not be just cleaned. Amortization is something normal, but should be taken in to consideration.The cleaning stuff is perfect!Very kind and good ladies!!!

Although many guests mentioned that they couldn't reach the hotel easily, on the contrary, the hotel is very easy to reach by taxi or metro or by plane via Shenzhen airport, just follow the sign that refers to the hotel by its name. The Entire hotel is spotless, and the staff is so helpful, especially Angel she was more than a sister. The breakfast is very good, although most of the Chinese dishes, there are many dishes you will like, besides the egg station, fruits, cheese and pastry, you will like it. the room was spacious, fully equipped with kitchen gadgets for cooking and also there was a dishwasher, microwave, stovetop, and kettle. It will be my first choice for Shenzhen, we don't need more.
