The hotel is in a very central location near to the historic squares and buildings of Maastricht. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and accommodating without being overbearing. The room was fairly small but totally adequate and had all necessary facilities. We were particularly impressed by the free tasty wine and nibbles in their happy hour and also their little in-house cinema.

We couldn't get the TV to work properly but we used our laptop anyway and, admittedly, we never asked the staff for help because the WiFi was good enough for laptop streaming.

Comfortable rooms, staff available 100percent of the time, able to write through whatsapp to ask things and got replies immediately... there are croissants in the morning for hungry newcomers, and there is complementary wine every day between 5 and 6, I never saw this anywhere before. The location is just perfect, literally 30sec walking from Market Square with many lovely bars/cafes as well as changing market activities throughout the week.. I had an excellent stay here. Rooms were very clean and well kept,too.

Black walls on half of the room was unusual, but it went with the overall style of the place, so not that bad actually. There was no fridge, which I thought is not very typical. So that made buying cheese from market a bit difficult.

Wine o'clock down in the bar, there's a cinema that you can book and you get given popcorn on arrival. Breakfast had a good selection. Very friendly and professional staff. Check-in and check-out were easy. Rooms are a good size and well fitted. Enough space to hang coats and clothes and easy access to light switches. Good location near the the city center (in Maastricht it's on the opposite side of the river to the train station).

It's not common in too many hotels but having USB ports in the rooms for charging would be a welcome addition (mostly because I discovered that I brought the cable but forgot my physical charger).

The location is just perfect! It’s in the heart of the city. The cinema is the cherry on the cake, with popcorn 🍿 and drinks. What I also liked very much was the wine hour. The young staff was very helpful and very hospitable. They assisted us to find a restaurant for the 31st December, which was not so easy. Thank you again for your support! The breakfast was very good! I would come back at any time!

The room was not huge, but very adequate and well-appointed for the size. The bed was very comfortable. The location was perfect; on a side street right off of the market square. The breakfast was good and there was enough choice except for cheese. It was very clean. The bathroom was not hypermodern but quite fine. Staff was very friendly and smiled all the time.

More than one cheese selection at breakfast. There was only "jonge kaas" en I don't care for that. The duvet (one) should have been two twin sized duvets because my partner is different than I am regarding temperature etc. It would have been better to have two separate duvets. There were no snacks to purchase at night while we were watching a Netflix film. Would have purchased some chips or some olives or something. The staff did not speak Dutch which was interesting in a Dutch hotel in a Dutch city.

We loved the cinema and the whole vibe to it. The location was perfect, it's so central! The rooms are a little dark because the black walls take in the light but I actually liked that. It was comfortable and not too bright. The black walls were nice and we got a big room for a good price! The cinema was so beautiful, such a cute little room where you could watch Netflix with free popcorn! It looked like a high quality hotel. The beds were so comfortable, maybe a little warm but comfy, clean bathroom

You couldn't really watch any streaming services on the TV unless you had a laptop and a cable to connect to the TV and the remote control didn't work that well, I think the batteries were going empty but that's okay. This wasn't advertised I think, so it's not bad but a water boiler would really make this room even better because tea is delicious! I don't have any serious complaints, it is such a beautiful hotel!

From the moment we walked through the front rotating door we were enchanted by what we found. Marga (the receptionist) was absolutely delightful, so helpful and accommodating. Marga made us feel at home from the very start, gave us a cup of tea as we were wet and tired from walking from the train station. She stored our luggage as our room wasn't ready and provided us with touristy, must see options of things to see in the town, she even helped me to book the tickets to make sure l was on the right tours. The room was like being in a movie in some ways. The theme of the hotel was a theatre as l think that is what the building had been in a previous life, so all the rooms were decked out with something related to the theatre. The bathroom was spacious and very clean. The location of the hotel to the central square was amazing as we only had to walk a hundred yards to be in amongst all the activity, restaurants and markets.

I didn't like that l hadn't booked another night. Maastricht was an amazing find and as we had no idea what there was to do there we didn't allow enough time for exploring. So we will be back one day.

Central hotel. Pleasant and helpful staff. We received a room upgrade. Also, the breakfast had variety and was delicious.

The hotel felt a bit cold, as if there was no heating in the common areas. The room was also slightly chilly despite the air conditioning running continuously. Lastly, the room was a bit dark, as if the lighting was not sufficient. I mention these purely for improvement!

Location was pretty adequate, rooms were comfortable and relatively quiet, the design with bed and TV was working out great. Bathroom was clean.

The fact that you always had to return your physical key to the receptionist when you were leaving the hotel and then had to wait very long to get it back because there was always only 1 person who was responsible both for the checking, bar and all enquiries.

Great location, helpful and friendly staff, free pastries at reception in the morning and fruit-infused water all day. Highlight: the cinema room that you could reserve for free and get free popcorn with as well.

The shower heads should be put in vinegar water over night once in a while. That was the only small improvement that could have been made to my stay.
