We absolutely loved this property and the warm welcome we received from Olivier. The house is stunning and our room (the Jules Verne room) was so beautiful and had a lovely terrace. Olivier offered to book us a table at a restaurant and we were so glad we ate there. Beautiful location by the river and great food. Breakfast in the lovely dining room of the property was a great start to our day. We stayed at 10 different places on our road trip and this was truly a place that we will remember and hope to return to. Some practical information: we reserved parking at the property but were visiting Amiens the next day. We easily found a parking space in front of the property in the morning (there are a lot of spaces in this area). From the property its an easy and pleasant walk into the center and Jules Verne's house is just along the road. Amiens is a beautiful town to visit and the sound and light show at the cathedral in the evening is something you would not want to miss. To add to what some other reviews have said, our room was the one with the toilet just across the corridor. This was absolutely no issue at all and I felt absolutely comfortable walking a few steps across the landing in my PJs as this is a guest house not a busy hotel.
Absolutely nothing to dislike.

Loved the location - easy walking distance to all Amiens attractions. The venue booked a table for us at a very good restaurant and the food was superb there. Breakfast was French and baguettes and croissants were plentiful with yoghurt, ham, cheese, jams etc. It was the owners birthday and he was out with his family so could not greet us personally but he trusted us with access to his home, which is magnificent. There is parking but be warned the entrance is narrow and there is no drop kerb so our car just could not access - it is a low car and we would have damaged the skirtings. Parking on the road but this does need to be paid for. The Nemo suite was amazing and had a beautiful bathroom - be warned it is on the 2nd floor plus with about 40 winding stairs to climb - not easy when you are in your 60s with luggage! Overall though, we loved our stay - well done and thank you.
Nothing - Tres Bon!!!

Very central location, easy walking distance to cathedral and other attractions, very friendly reception, excellent breakfast, very nice bathroom facilities, easy and secure parking (we were even offered their private space in a lovely yard full of flowers).
Hardly anything really, except for the small detail that for our room, the toilet was separate from the bathroom and located (though for our use only) across a small hallway, but that cannot be helped because of the structure of the house.

We had an incredible stay at the Maison Longuevie. This was a very last minute booking and the reviews could not be more accurate. Olivier is an attentive and accomodating host. The house is absolutely gorgeous and decorated with taste while offering optimal comfort. We stayed in the Jules Verne room and enjoyed our private balcony overlooking the quiet streets of Amiens. The breakfast was delicious and generous. I did not have any dislikes. I hope to visit Amiens again just to stay at the Maison Longuevie!

Oliver was the perfect host, very helpful, breakfast and facilities were excellent. We would most like to return at some point in the future. Oliver was most helpful with recommendations and suggestions on where to visit. The home is well situated for a gentle stroll into towncentre so very convenient for a town stay. We highly recommend this beautiful home for a visit!
Narrow steps to attic rooms and winding staircases. But these are the character of the house and delightful. The attic rooms are wonderful accomodation though! Spacious, beautifully furnished and relaxing! Only reference is to assist anyone who may struggle with stairs. We did note however that the First floor is accessible by a chair lift - so is still a possibility to visit.

The hosts were excellent, among the best we have ever met. Nothing was too much trouble The property has a really nice, almost quirky vibe, with many personal touches from the long-term hosts Breakfast was nice too and their restaurant recommendation well-appreciated There was no elevator, but the hosts ensured this was no problem at all
Our room was very large, but built within the confines of the ceiling space. At 185cm, I had to be careful of headspace

Our host Olivier was so friendly and helpful. Parking was onsite in a private courtyard. Olivier gave a great recommendation for dinner at a local restaurant, where his introductory card entitled us to a free aperitif. Our room, the entire top floor, was up narrow stairs in an beautifully renovated and exquisitely appointed home. I would rate this as one of the best I have ever stayed in and strongly recommend it. Chapeau Olivier and thank you.

Olivier was fantastic as a host. My Scottish accent proved difficult for him but he was a charming host. The house is beautiful and relaxing. Free and secure car parking allowed us the freedom to walk the 10 minutes to the centre knowing we could return easily. He catered for our difficult dietary requirements. He was discreet but always available to help us if needed. A wonderful break in a beautiful town.

Great continental breakfast incl cheese, ham, yoghurt, fruit, nice crusty bread & large croissant! Large, quiet room in attic (quite a few stairs), no children allowed. Useful mini fridge with bottle of milk & water provided.
Instructions for the tv screen etc weren't very clear. Shower had a couple of steps, & no door, which could be awkward & we didn't like the macerating toilet.

The house is beautiful, stylish and conveniently located near the main of Amiens. Great decor. We appreciated the parking available on site. Although close to the city center, it was a very quiet location. The hosts, Phillipe and Oliver, were charming and made us feel very comfortable. What a lovely garden they have. Walking distance from Jules Verne Circus and Museum. Amiens, a city worth visiting too.
A thinner pillow may be better for some guests. Yet, I think that next time we will have to stay longer!
