I had been working 7 days a week for weeks on a row when booking the first stay of this holiday. So I wanted a quiet secluded location ‘to land’. This is a lovely quiet location on the French countryside. The owner can cook a lovely diner from local ingredients. When there are more guests, you eat together on the same table. We ate together with some very nice persons and had a lovely conversation. Druyes les belles Fontaines is a wonderful medieval village closeby with some great walking opportunities. From the location itself you can walk to the village, or have walks through the forests nearby.

The room isn’t very big, couldn’t really store the luggage. It’s not to luxurious.

Our host was wonderful, We had 2 great nights sleep the bed was really comfortable. The location was perfect for peace and quiet . Will highly recommend if wanting to just relax and enjoy your surroundings.

The room was a little small and the shower wasn't very powerful.

The loveliest place we have stayed in with the most charming host. In an idyllic setting and with a superb pool. And an excellent breakfast and if pre booked a wonderful dinner. A place we will treasure!

Absolutely nothing!

What can I say that hasn't been said by others? Lee is a caring, gracious and professional host, who is the heart of this B&B. The Auberge is Lee and Lee is the Auberge. She is the main reason to come here, but don't forget to enjoy the beautiful garden with swimming pool, cosy rooms and delicious homemade meals while you're there ;).

The only thing that comes to mind is that the water pressure in our shower was a bit low.

Amazing place to stay with our 3-month old baby! The dinners prepared by the host, Lee, were outstanding and some of the best food we ate on our holiday - having dinner outdoors overlooking fields and rolling hills with the sun setting was blissful. Days spent relaxing by the pool, and exploring the peaceful surrounding countryside and villages. Exceeded all expectations!

Amazing nature, stunning farmhouse. Good value for money.

If you like the bigger cities, realize it is a bit further away in the countryside then the more centrally located hotels. (But then you would be missing out on the experience)

From the moment we arrived we felt at home. the room was beautiful, Lee is an amazing host and it was wonderful to have the option to have home cooked meals in the evening. The location was also superb. Quite rural which suited us and our dog Willow but close enough to some wonderful Burgundy towns which included Vezelay.

Lee the owner was a fabulous host! Having a dip in the pool on arrival was perfect start. Dinner was served in a great setting and the food (all organic) was top tier. Loved meeting Lenny the dog too! Huge thanks for a lovely stay!
