We chose this hotel for our honeymoon trip and it exceeded our expectations. They do offer a shuttle service (for a fee), but we drove a rental car from the Munich airport to the hotel and the trip took about 2 hours, but the views are picturesque which made it feel a lot shorter. Our room was in the original building (the castle), which we loved. It didn't look anything like a modern hotel room, but it was very roomy and had it's own charm and style, which you can see in one of my photos. The window photo were the views from our room. Every staff member we encountered spoke fluent English and was friendly and accommodating. We're not sure if it was typical for European hotels, but the breakfast buffet was phenomenal and there were so many great options. Breakfast was complimentary, but we did have to pay was a small tax (only a few euros each). We had dinner at the hotel two nights out of our stay and it was our favorite meals of our entire trip. The ingredients in the dishes, especially the desserts, were equal parts creative and delicious. The pool and its views were incredible. We were lucky to visit the hotel during a slow season and had the pool all to ourselves for almost an hour. We skied as part of this trip and the free ski lockers at the hotel and the shuttle to the Hahnenkammbahn lift made everything so easy. Every part of the hotel was clean and well taken care of. We would absolutely come back to this hotel to celebrate another milestone in the future!

Everything was perfect from the beginning till the end of our stay. Staff is very professional and take care of all even small details. Administrators in our check in and our check out are very polite and helpful. The massage was help to feel my back better after month of pain, I had the professional Suzanna, she did her best to make me feel good. Waiters in the restaurant in the morning and in the evening also were professionals with good recommendations of food and drinks especially wine and cocktails. The chef made my taste buds go crazy. Everything was amazing, thank you very much and see you soon

Everything was perfect

Another summer, another stay. This hotel is amazing in all of its aspects. The panoramic view from the rooms is spectacular, the spa and especially the infinity pool on the last floor are gorgeous, and the location is perfect. All of the staff were very friendly and professional. A special thanks to Antoneta who assisted us at breakfast for being so friendly and taking care of us (especially our toddler!). The breakfast is 5 star level and you could spend an entire day just sitting on the terrace of the restaurant just taking in the views.

I liked everything.

The hotel was beautiful. Exceptionally clean. The pool was probably the most stunning I have seen anywhere in the world. The staff were incredibly friendly, especially Botond and the staff covering dinner in the restaurant.

It was extremely hot during our stay. Whilst the main hotel areas had aircon the rooms didn’t. This was the only thing in the whole stay that could be improved. There were room fans but given the extreme heat they didn’t do much use.

Pool area was lovely, although would have preferred to be able to wear swim wear in sauna and steam. We were advised it was a naked area but could wear a towel so didn’t see the difference. We were situated in the old castle area of the hotel which I would not choose to be in. Room was spacious and clean but a little tired and cool and up 3 flights of stairs with no lift available. This cool room must have been previous guest views too as a supplementary heater was put in. The tiled bathroom floor was freezing and shower was over the bath with a small screen. The room was provided with a bottle of tap water but no tea/coffee making facilities which was disappointing. Shuttle bus to town was very good as it cost $20 one way to town - only available til 5pm. Staff were nice & free cookies on reception good. Had breakfast and two evening meals and all delicious.

Would have preferred to be in modern area of hotel. Walk to room up castle staircase was cold. Tea and coffee in the room. Tried TV but couldn’t get it to work but didn’t report it as I don’t sit and watch TV in bed without a cup of tea.

The hotel is in an excellent location. Breakfast is superb and the staff are very polite and helpful. You could not ask for a better view from the infinity pool.....just amazing. George from hotel check in, is an excellent asset to the hotel. He is very friendly, polite and knowledgeable of the local area. During our stay, he was extremely helpful in many ways and made our trip a true success. I hope to deal with him again when we return as it is always a pleasure to interact with people like him. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wishes to stay in the Kitzbuhel area.

The hotel was amazing - greeted on arrival with a glass of Prosecco. Room was lovely, the restaurant was beautiful with amazing views. The ski bus service to the slopes was incredible - drivers all super friendly and couldn’t do enough to help.

They advertise a pillow service / menu, but I had to call twice to get different pillows and then they said they couldn’t find any? Only minor niggle - rest was amazing.

The pricing policy is tricky. It was over 400 euros per night with free cancellation policy about 2 weeks before arrival. A couple of days before the 2 weeks prices went up to 500 euros and after the free cancellation price dropped to 250 euros. So prices vary a lot and makes you wonder what is the true value of this hotel.

The property and facilities were excellent. The pool, spa and bar area exceptional. Better than the photos. The staff were all lovely.

The TV is only in German. You cannot change to English even if the TV shows are in English. You can cast if you subscribe to a streaming service but that was an issue for the first few nights as TV not connected to the internet. The bar could use some beer taps and a proper coffee machine.

The room was lovely - big, huge balcony, views, quiet end-of hallway location. The pool was incredible!! So magical doing laps while huge snowflakes fell on the glass roof. The naked sauna was an experience, but as they say, when in Rome ;) Breakfast was amazing, one of the best during our stay in Europe/UK. Free treats at reception were an added bonus :) The hotel is a little out of town but we loved the snowy trail, it's an easy walk and helped walk off our dinner!

No kettle in the room. This is such a simple thing to add and it would have made the stay 10/10! We had kettles supplied in every other hotel we stayed at so to not have one - in a hotel more expensive than the others - was baffling.
