This is a simple hotel with no pool or breakfast, but its huge advantage is its location—just a two-minute walk from the beach and very close to all the restaurants. Take your room key and go to swim with the sardines. The room was very clean and spacious, the air conditioning was quiet, and the entire area was so peaceful that, despite being near the restaurants, the only sound was that of crickets. The hotel staff was very kind, and it was clear that they had thoughtfully considered the needs of tourists. The room had a water dispenser, allowing guests to refill water for their entire stay. They also provided a designated rack with hangers for drying laundry outside the room. At the entrance to each room, there was a hand sanitizer station, the TV was equipped with Netflix, and overall, even though the hotel is not five-star, I had everything I needed for a comfortable and pleasant stay.

For a Singaporean, this meets the comfort and service level that I was hoping to have in Moalboal. Most accommodations are not as modern or clean (based on pictures), which is understandable as it is a developing municipality. I was impressed with the following: - Staff are super nice and helpful. We also spoke with the owner and his wife, and they are lovely people who travel a fair bit, and have implemented high standards on their property. For example, they work very hard to provide clean water to the rooms (shower/ tap), and in Moalboal, this requires a lot of filters and hard work. - The bed is comfortable, and the area is quiet yet very central to very good cafes/ restaurants. Clean kettle. Modern TV with netflix/ amazon prime/ airplay. There is a fridge + water dispenser! Aircon is great & adjustable (and bonus that it's not directly blowing into your face but positioned away from the bed). - The compound and the rooms are really clean and well scrubbed down daily (we saw the housekeeping team in action and taking their work very seriously). - There are areas to wash down your sandy feet when you come back from the beach. - They have a rack for you to sun your wet clothes outside the room! - The laundry service is great, we saw the staff hand washing our clothes & sunning them well. - They provide great quality life vests and snorkel equipment. - The cafe beside them (westcost cafe moalboal) serves great coffee & food. - They provide very comfortable transport (via another company) to take you to and fro cebu city. (ours was a big toyota car with good suspension for the testy cebu roads) - This hotel only has 8 rooms, so you need to be lucky to snag a stay with them. They also have 2 cute sausage dogs! Couldn't recommend this place more, and of course we left a generous tip. Thanks a lot guys!

The room and bathroom is big compared to other hotels I’ve been to and the room is very nice, clean and comfortable. The location is only few minutes walk from the sardines run and close to the restaurants and bars. There’s pretty much everything in the room that I might need such as water dispenser, small refrigerator, complimentary coffee/tea, big tv with Netflix,umbrella,drying rack, a safe, nice hair dryer etc. The staff are all nice and helpful.

Just my husband and I , with my 2 kids age 10 and 14 stayed in the hotel and I have to pay for two separate rooms for us. I think the room is big enough for 2 adults and 2 kids and I hope I can just request an extra bed for my teen. We barely use the other room because both of my kids wants to stay with me in one room.Also, the mosquitoes in Moalboal. I guess it’s inevitable , they go inside the room with you when you open the door. Maybe adding a mosquito repellent inside and outside the hotel will help. My son and I got couple of mosquito bites despite of the topical mosquito repellent we used.

Everything! Clean and comfortable room which came with a smart TV (Netflix, YouTube, or stream from your device). Friendly and helpful staff. Fuss-free booking of tours and driver via the hotel. Bonus: Bacon and Stitch were ADORABLE! We especially appreciated the free snorkel masks and life jackets. Just bring it along to the beach and you’re ready to snorkel!! Amazing location - smack between tons of cafes, bars, local restaurants, scooter rental shops and a 5-min walk from the beach!

Nothing, really. It may be a bit pricier than some of the other hostels in the area, but definitely worth the money.

I was given a room upstairs accessed from a lovely gallery with 2chairs, a table and a laundry hanger for each room. Neat and clean, furniture and decoration were pretty standard but finished in light tones to accentuate the brightness of the room. The room had a minifridge and a free big jug of water. The bathroom was spacious and the shower too. The water run with great pressure and there was hot water too. Location was just perfect: right in the middle of the shop street but also right behind a tall building which protected completely from the noise. 1 min walking from the beach and 1min away from coffee shops serving breakfast from 6-7am. Efficient laundry service. Cleaning staff continuously cleaned the gallery floor during the day. Great wifi connection, it never cut, nor the power. Very comfortable desk &chair.

The reception staff is what I liked the least. The 1st day they insisted to call me a tricycle which I found out being more expansive than taking a random one from the street or a motorbike-taxi. Of course I imagine they get a share for themselves. The tours they offer are non-joiner as they don't collect in the same tour different clients until they have a group to share the cost of the driver, guide, etc.. but instead they give you the price for a private driver for yourself. Meaning that I can call a taxi myself, no need for them to interfere and surely get their share on that too. Pillows too full uncomfortable for the neck. Walls in-between rooms thin or non-insulated as I could hear my neighbors talking.

Really lovely room. Staff were very helpful and kind during my stay. A lot of cafes and restaurants nearby so you will not be disappointed.

There were some issues with no water (entire area) and none of the staff mentioned it to me until i discovered the issue myself. I did find the noise cancellation bad as sometimes staff or other guests would be talking outside their/my room in the morning and it would wake me up

We loved our stay here. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is spacious and the bed is very comfortable. Location is superb, it’s right next to shops, great cafes & restaurants but in a quiet little side street so you can enjoy a good night rest :) It’s also less than 5 min walking from the sardines run & turtles. Bonus : great wifi (which was a big issue everywhere else in the Philippines) & great AC!

There was no little shower hose

Close to the beach and to restaurants. The rooms are very clean, and the amenities are good. Really good rooms compared to what you would normally get around the place.

They should test the functionality of the free snorkels. Mine had the strap that always detaches at the ear, and at some point, the rubber tube detached, which resulted in me drinking a big gulp of sea water. A little expensive, but the rooms are significantly better than what you would normally get in Panagsama.

The location was great, very close to the restaurants and 2 mins walk to the seaside! The room was clean, and even Netflix was available. We felt safe because the security guide was on duty every night. Very friendly stuff who helped us to organize the transfer service from the airport to the accommodation even though it was very late at night. They also helped with the whaleshark watching tour. The driver picked us up from the room at 4 a.m. and we were very lucky to be one of the first groups to watch those wonderful creatures.

The only small inconvenience was that due to the ceiling mounted shower head, it was difficult to have a quick shower and to wash only the body.

The hotel is located near the beach and main road of Moalboal. The hotel offers clean, spatious rooms with a properly working and silent AC and a really great bathroom. The shower was perfect and had good water pressure and temperature control. You can take a snorkel and life jacked for free to watch the sardines. The staff is helpful and kind. The staff helped us with extra towels, a baby crib for our baby and our transport to the next stop. Overall, great place to stay with nice and kind staff.

Maybe a bit pricey, as we paid around € 60 per night.
