I like a family owned business like this one. The family bought this 2 years ago and maintains it beautifully. They are doing updates as they can and really take pride in their business. I am handicapped and in a wheelchair. Their facility was very wheelchair friendly and the accessible room perfect for accommodating my needs. The price was a real deal too. Great large screen TV with full cable, great comfortable bed, the pool and spa facilities were a 12 out of 10-very well maintained and the pool was not too hot or too cold for me to do my physical therapy in. If we are back in Ames, I would definitely book again-tell your friends and family about this hidden gem!

nothing could have been better

Perfect & $ was very good. Very clean, newer carpet, paint, etc. Smells great, bed was for Goldilocks. Not too firm, not too soft. Breakfast was really good & constantly stocked by Theresa, who was also front desk & more. She worked so hard she was stressed & worn out. Careful bosses, she was on high speed & stressed. You're gonna wear her out & lose her. Thanks for specifically responding to each review & and delineating each review's special points. It shows ppl how diligent you are & caring about each individual.

Dark lighting in bath & sink.

The location is just great. It is close to ISU, as we were there to drop our son to ISU. Staff is very helpful and kind. There is always someone to assist in case of any need. Cathy is a wonderful person, ensured every morning great breakfast. Just one thing that was badly missing is the absence of eggs in the breakfast, though it was offered every other day but the regular offer of such would be nice. Kamini is also a very nice and helping person. It is a recommended place for a family, especially if you want to be close to ISU. Our boys have enjoyed the pool every day, and the Jacuzzi at most.

Since we booked the room for 5, we were expecting to have accommodation for 5..however the bedding was just good for 4 people, as there were 2 queen beds. We expected to have at least one sofa cum bed, that should be there for a family of 5.

Breakfast was fine. There was a worker there named Teresa. She went above and beyond to make my stay great. I forgot my phone charger, toothbrush, and toothpaste. She found all of those items for me. This woman was so kind and also made others feel welcome while I ate breakfast. She deserves a huge raise! We will definitely be back.
