The room was large and spacious for the price. Hard to beat the value. The breakfast is always a great touch. The cooks do well to have plenty of variety. Who doesn't like biscuits and gravy, eggs, and sausage in the morning? It was nice and quiet as well. The proximity to the Lloyd Vet Medical Center is a huge plus.

Not much to complain about, but the trash cans always need to be bigger. Those tiny ones aren't good for multiple guests.

Loved the location and the rooms were comfortable; and the staff was amazing!

curtains in the room seemed to be stained and needed replaced and had to reset the direct tv so the tv would work. The food wasn't great there were no extras like hot sauce/ketchup for eggs or jelly for toast and no bananas as the fruit option... could have a better selection.

This property is clean and the staff was awesome! Even though we hadn’t been to the hotel in a month…the kid at the front desk remembered us (I cannot remember his name….the irony 🤦🏻‍♀️) . The hotel is located in a convenient area and the beds are comfortable. This hotel offers a great breakfast as well!

I have nothing negative to say about this property.

Breakfast was varied full and very good. All facilities looked brand new! and nicely cleaned. Everything was was very good at this motel. For me the bed was a little too firm but pillows were comfy and bedsheets done well. In bathroom the faucets were very pretty and worked well. The shower head was terrific!!!! No complaints.

In the room: the a/c was fairly noisy. Had to shut it off completely at abt 1:30am to get some sleep. But What I did not like more was the price gouging on a football weekend. (Which was not our reason to be in Ames. ). On usual days it seems the cost of a room was 1/3 1/3!!! of the rate charged for this weekend. That is outrageous!! More than a fancy hotel in the heart of St. Louis. That is my big complaint. Other wise good.

I was surprised at how close it was to ISU! Very clean and the breakfast was good! They kept the breakfast area so clean both days! Those eggs with ham in them were amazing! The young gal who helped me book my room for the next stay was awesome! She gave me lots of info about the hotel and being a new parent to ISU!

There was nothing I did not like about the property! Already booked to stay again next time we are there!

The location of the hotel was great. Allowing dogs was the main reason I stayed at this hotel as I was up in Ames to attend the ISU pet hospital. The rooms were nice and clean. The beds were comfortable. The price was reasonable for the time frame of my stay. The complimentary breakfast was always tasty with plenty of choices. Biscuits, gravy, sausage, eggs, toast, waffles, yogurt, oatmeal, and all sorts of other great food. A great amenity.

Really not much to say. As a 3 star "budget" hotel, it was very comfortable and clean.

Location was excellent for our visit to ISU

I asked for an extended late check out due to wanting a shower after football camp. It was discussed and agreed we would be done and out by 1 pm. However when we returned at 1240pm our key was no longer valid. The SAME CLERK I had discussed it with told me housekeeping had cleared it and was gone for the day. The cart was still in the hallway 3 rooms down. I’ll draw my own conclusions. I know it was a big ask. If you can’t accommodate then just say so. It would have changed plans and we could have stayed at the campus longer.

Location was perfect for us!! We were there for a procedure for our dog at ISU. We were given a room on the first floor, perfect for taking our dog out!! The surrounding property is so pretty with the golf course and made for nice walks. We definitely plan to make this our choice hotel for future visits to ISU! The staff was kind and courteous!!

Incredibly clean! I complemented the lovely breakfast room staff on how clean the kitchen is. She took such great care of the cleanliness of the room and the buffet at all times. The food was re-stocked so quickly! The whole facility is clean, welcoming. The room was spacious and comfortable. So nice! I will be back!

Clean and comfortable room.

Typical American hotel chain breakfast - bland highly processed food with little options for food allergies like lactose intolerance. Breakfast really sucked. Coffee was terrible.
