The room was clean and well prepared for me to stay there. I had my dog with me and both beds were plenty of space to relax. The fridge was huge help as I had groceries to compliment my week staying there. It wasn't crowded much of the week except Monday, so it was fairly quiet. There was an Future Farmers of America event going on in town and the kids were staying there. They got a little loud at times, but not terribly late. I got some breakfast there at the hotel restaurant the morning I was checking out. I never really did see anyone in the restaurant area, so I was a hesitant to try it, thinking food might not be that fresh. But, it turned out to be really good. The eggs, sausage, and potatoes were great and well prepared. Priced reasonable. Maybe a little cheaper than going to the Iowastater nearby in the adjacent hotel.

My biggest complaint was some noise that I could hear through the pipes and walls in the bathroom. My guess is that the laundry area was located beneath me and it was the machines that were causing a constant rumbling and rattling noise periodically. I was able to sleep fine as it never happen much past 10 pm. Two of the workout machines (treadmill and stepper) didn't work. Plus, the fitness room is tiny.

The location was a great asset. I was staying there with my dog while he was admitted to the ISU vet hospital. Allowing dogs was the main reason for my stay. The rooms were clean, the fitness center was a nice amenity, and the pool was relaxing. The beds were fairly comfortable. I didn't have any issues sleeping.

I didn't like the fact the there was no complimentary breakfast. Other cheaper hotels even had that. They said they had a restaurant, but it never seemed to be manned by anyone. Luckily, there were plenty of breakfast places nearby that I could walk to. Unfortunately, I had to book this hotel last minute during the week of college move in, so the prices were inflated.

I needed the room for a single night as I was coming in from Omaha to take my dog to the ISU vet center the following day. Didn't get to take advantage of too much in the hotel such as the pool or fitness center.

The fact that they don't have a complimentary breakfast is a big hit. The vast majority of mid-priced or budget hotel have a breakfast. It is something I really look for when I have to stay multiple days. The restaurant they said that was on site didn't ever seem to be occupied. Not sure if I just had to wave down kitchen staff to get food, but luckily there were plenty of place around to get food.

The location is ideal and easily accessible from the highway. Front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming on my arrival and clearly explained all the amenities and features available to me during my stay. Ample parking on site and there are a few good restaurants just a few minutes away.

I'm a stickler for in-room entertainment and I found that the television was a bit outdated and small in screen size. Not a dealbreaker but something that can be improved upon.

Our room was clean and spacious. I love that they had a washer and dryer because I needed to wash my son's jersey. The bed was soft and comfortable.

I didn't like that breakfast wasn't a buffet style. Manu wasn't available. We had to request it. Food was good.

Was greeted every time I walked in. All of the staff was friendly. Front desk, housekeeping, maintenance.

The bathroom tiles need to be fixed, and when standing to take a shower, the tub floor squeaked every time you moved. Other than that, it was fine.

Kelly was amazing. She greeted us upon arrival and was great. Every time we saw her she was always going out of her way to talk to us. The bed was super comfortable and I had great sleep every night.

The breakfast café was a bit over priced for what you got. Food was good just a bit pricey.

Night staff was so kind and courteous. I don't recall her name, but in all the hotels we stayed at the past couple weeks, her personality and kindness were top notch!!

The property is best located near university campus and very good for stay when you visit IOWA university for any purpose.

A higher stool is becoming standard. the lighting over the sink is harsh. Makes you feel terrible about your appearance before going out!
