It's time to review my stay at this hotel. This is a very interesting hotel in terms of design and architecture. The hotel looks like a gothic style castle or even a cathedral from outside. I must say that staying in this hotel is an experience on its own. The hotel is not only fancy but also incredibly artistic. I'm giving this hotel 5 stars mainly because of how professional and even friendly the employees of this hotel are. I must also say that the rooms are spotless clean and there're some really nice restaurants in this hotel. The breakfast was excellent. The location was also great. Finally, I would say that the rate was a bit on the high side.

I faced some issues during my stay, which was frustrating. The temperature in the room was too hot, and there was no way to open the window. I complained about it multiple times, but they told me that there's an issue with the A/C. Unfortunately, the technicians didn't fix the issue during my stay but the front desk employees were so supportive and professional that they offered me to change my room to another room where I could open the window (at least). It partially solved the problem, but it was frustrating. I couldn't believe that a 5 stars hotel had an issue with A/C for a few days. Once again, I'm grateful to the front desk employees who managed to provide a quick solution.

The hotel is really fascinating (like the name and the shape of it) the rooms are very big, clean, comfortable especially the bed and the bedlinen 👌 you have everything in the room: water, cafe, tea, some welcome chocolate. The breakfast is absolute superb: you can choose a'la carte from a wide range of foods and each of them are very delciousous - hard to choose. There is 3 different restaurant: we tried all of them and were very satisfied: steak, italian and asian. The spa is really good.

I like this hotel for its excellent restaurants and outstanding breakfast. I especially appreciate the concept of ordering breakfast à la carte instead of the usual buffet—it’s a much better experience. The service is very good, and the location is great—close to “Little France,” where you can see the miniature Eiffel Tower and the statue of Charles de Gaulle. It’s a pleasant area to walk around.

Some of the waiters have difficulty understanding English, but they always do their best to help.

Loved the design of the place, how conveniently it is located, beautiful view from the room, spacious room, comfy bed, great products in the bathroom, delicious breakfast.

The only aspect that put me off was the lack of assistance at the lobby entrance/exit. While carrying two suitcases, no one offered help, and I had to manage opening the doors and lifting my luggage over the doorstep on my own. At a five-star hotel, I would expect that level of service both at the start and the end of my stay.

The hotel is well-located and very beautifully designed. The rooms feel quite luxurious and it is quite nice having a-la-carte breakfast. The hotel has WhatsApp service which is very fast and convenient.

The heating in the rooms is so hot. I did however speak with reception and they were quite quick to fix this for me for which I am grateful. The rooms are very stylish, but sometimes the design is impractical, for example the do not disturb signs do not fit on the door handles, towels are on the opposite side of the room to the shower/sink etc.

Amazing building, fantastic staff, so comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The localisation is perfect to enjoy calm and Astana's skyline. The breakfast is absolutely delicious. It is not a buffet but a selection of varied and tasty fresh made savory and sweet creations. The spa facilities are great and Saltanat is a massage expert. Cannot say anything but please do not miss the Veil and its three delicious restaurants each offering a different ambiance with equally superb cuisines.

It’s an amazing hotel in terms of design, in a beautiful building. Most unusual I stayed in. Hotel staff are very attentive to guests’ needs (preparing Sahoor meals early morning and delivering to the room). Some decent restaurants on the 2nd floor. Rooms are really big.

I think that bathroom area could be better thought out, with sink outside the room. It’s not entirely convenient. And it’s small too, considering how much free space there’s. But a minor issue. Entry hall and generally lighting inside is quite dim lit and dark.

The design was great! Nice tall ceilings! Staff were good although maybe understaffed! Beds great! Restaurant lovely, and really liked the wine shop!

The front door is soooo heavy and very difficult to manage with bags etc, there was no staff there to help. Did not like the layout of the bathroom, it was very impractical and no where to put your stuff. It was also very dark!

Extraordinary hotel with unique amazing design both from outside and inside. After arrival you spend quite some time just walking around the hotel and enjoying its unique design. Rooms are quite big, very cozy and stylish, there are very good bluetooth loudspeakers in the room (Bang and Olufsen), bed is comfortable. There are 3 great restaurants inside the hotel and 1 wine boutique where they also organize winetasting dinners. Breakfasts are a-la-carte with quite many options to choose from and all meals we have tasted - looked great and tasted great and we had quite full table. SPA is quite good, but with some drawbacks mentioned below.

Just a couple of things: 1) Sauna and turkish Hammam were warm, but not hot... Staff couldn't help to make them more hot. And infrared sauna was not working at all. 2) There is a Nespresso coffee machine in the room and there are several coffee capsules available in different colours. Normally these capsules are different inside as well: some of them are decaf, some are stronger, some milder... but there are no signs on capsules and staff also couldn't give information on difference between them.
