Spacious clean and bright room with balcony. Beds were super comfy and bathroom perfect layout and very clean. Loved the location literally off the Main Street for shops and cafes yet very quiet. A few minutes walk from tram station and Phantasialand shuttle bus. Staff were welcoming, attentive and helpful. Offered breakfast and evening meal but we were happy to potter about around town before our flight home. If planning a Phantasialand trip this accommodation is literally perfect. Clean, modern, affordable and the location superb. Minutes from transport, supermarkets and high street.

Blackout curtain didn’t fit window very well and we woke early but this is minor problem. Room was perfect in every other way.

Review from the friend I was travelling with: I stayed in Balthasar Neumann for two nights while I was visiting Phantasialand the fun park in Brühl and it was a very pleasant stay. This is not a 5 star hotel, but it was most certainly 5 star in service and hospitality. They were very kind to me and they kept my luggage for one day after check out so I could pick it up later on the way back from Phantasialand so that was very sweet and kind of them. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for something comfortable and affordable, nothing fancy but clean, warm, and quiet. Thank you for having me there.

The staff is very friendly. Everething was perfect comparing with services provided in other guesthouses where I stayed. Clean linen and comfortable bed and pillow....I slept like a baby. Very quiet in the house. Guest house is very close to all terraces in downtown. Staff is very resourceful regarding touristic information in the surrounding. I recommend it with all my regards.

There was nothing that I can say I didn't like. I had a pleasant staying here. The restaurant has a terrace which was closed at the time. That is a very nice place to stay during the day. There are some road working next to the restaurant but did not affect me personally. Maybe a small fridge will be good to have in the room so you can keep cold beverages during hot days.

We stayed for two nights and absolutely loved our time here. The room was very clean, modern, and comfortable. Everything was well-organized and exactly as described. The location was perfect — quiet, yet close to everything we needed. The host was friendly and helpful, making check-in and check-out smooth and easy. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

The room was much nicer than I had expected for the price, and the location was excellent, walking distance from Brühl station with regular services to Cologne central station. The room was clean, the bathroom had a nice shower and hair dryer that both worked well. The TV was a decent size and had a wide variety of channels as well as YouTube and Amazon Apps built in which made finding English language entertainment easy.

The Wi-Fi password wasn't displayed in the room and because the check in desk at the restaurant was a couple of minutes walk across town from the apartment it was a bit of a pain to go and get it.

The place should be rated higher than the current rating. It is clean, modern, the staff is nice, and in a very convenient location.

The bed was a little stiff for my liking but not uncomfortable. At check in my bedding was not done and I had to do it myself. The water pressure was not very good but considering I was on the 4th floor it was understandable.

The apartman is a very modern, minimal style, very clean and look beauty room. Looks like a very new. The employees are very helpfull and nice. The bed was comfortable, the blanket is warm. The Shopping center near by walk 4 minutes: - Pizzeria (not accept credit card, only cash), ALDI, bank automat in the shopping center. Near by the shopping center there is a very nice cafe, with super breakfast and nice waitress. Near by there there is an apotheka too. The people drive safety, and slow. Parking place near by walk 5 minutes from apartment.

There was no any spone or plate for eating. You need to start the shower before you want to have a shower 2-3 minutes, because there is very cold water first, after 2-3 minute has started the warmer water.

Made to feel welcome immediately, and was amazed by the room we received. Balcony was a great place to sit, room big enough for three people easy and a brilliant bathroom.

Having the hobs to make food on was superb, although having to buy our own cutlery and plates etc was a little bit annoying, so maybe if they were available for us to use through the hotel it would have been even better.

Very spacious. Get own room. Bathroom is huge. Close to amenities such as shopping centre with Aldi and Rewe. Close to bus stop for Phantasialand-.

No onsite parking or cheap car park. Was £10/day when you go out the barriers. Also was very hot and there was no air con. This would have made it 10/10.
