Conveniently positioned just before the Mont Blanc tunnel on my journey from Tuscany. I couldn’t resist the opportunity to stay in this wonderful building. So I made sure I got there in time to enjoy the experience! Each room is a delight; carefully appointed with furniture and fabrics commensurate with the history. The design of the travertine tiles in the bathroom, being a good example. Sitting above the town and away from the main roads, it was very peaceful. Cristina was very welcoming and was pleased to tell me some of its history - something she must do all too often! Unfortunately, the main restaurant in town, an easy walk, was closed, so I found myself at a pizzeria where some locals were dining and they too were welcoming. I would definitely stay again on my way to / from / or in both directions, if I take the car again!

The historic nature and location of the castle were fantastic-great for Aosta and visiting the area. The host was lovely and we enjoyed the furniture, the stonework and preserved carpentry of the building. Breakfast was great and the rooms were spacious and comfortable.

The best place I have ever stayed. I cried when I left. One night was not enough. Our host was amazing, kind and made the most wonderful breakfast. The bed was so comfortable and I have never slept on pillows more comfortable. We will return to spend many more days in the future.

That you breakfast in a real medieval hall, and that you lay in the courtyard gazing at aosta and the mountains

For tall people bed was not long enough, but besides that very nice royal bed.

Everything!! Staying in a real castle which completely remains its authenticity, peaceful in the middle of the fruit yards, hosted by lovely Cristina who is a walking history book on the castle and the Aosta Valley.

Christina was a fantastic host, super helpful and so accommodating. Breakfast in the garden with views of the Alps was sublime - a great selection of pastries fruit cheeses cake yogurt and eggs, we did not go hungry. The castle is beautiful, so full of history and the décor is spectacular. Rooms very spacious with a little reading room next door. Very comfortable bed. The garden and grounds were just beautiful. Really felt like a homestay in the Alps rather than a b&b. location is excellent - near to Aosta, but Gressan is packed full of places to eat and drink.

We were warm in the bedroom, but it's to be expected in the height of summer!

Worth a visit. The room is very warm so we slept well. In the morning you will see the snow mountains right outside the window. The breakfast prepared by Cristina was perfect

A wonderful place from other times… beautiful, mysterious and full of atmosphere. A spacious bedroom with a comfortable bed and another beautiful dayroom for dining and reading. All the rooms in the castle are tastefully furnished in period style and maintained perfectly clean and polished. Excellent, hearty and abundant breakfast. Cristina is a perfect hostess - friendly, welcoming and generous. Hoping to come again one day in the future 😊

Everything was perfect! This place and our host, Cristina, were lovely. The breakfast was delicious. It was such a great experience to spend a day in a special place like this.
