The location was good, close to a cafe for breakfast. Carparking onsite was good. Wifi was fast and reliable, kitchen facilities all that we needed for a couple of days. We also received a lovely ‘welcome package’ of bottled water, coffee pods, chocolates and mints which was a nice surprise.

We had no milk for tea/coffee but the nearby cafe helped us out as there aren’t any supermarkets close by. A quick chat with reception the last morning resolved that this was an oversight in the room preparation so shouldn’t happen again.

Great easy communication throughout stay including before arrival, during stay where needed and after. Apartment was very clean and exceptional size. I thought many times this is bigger than some houses will recommend and stay again in the future without a thought

Only thing i can fault and it's a small general maintenance issue i haven't raised at this point but i am sure will be rectified once i do is that the bathroom doors between rooms in the apartment couldn't be locked (note bathroom is in your own room so only shared with your family or your own guests staying with you)

The use of the JustIN app was new to me but easy. The room was lovely. Bright, clean, a great size, appointed well. The shower pressure and size was great. Lovely to have white towels which were also a good size. Comfortable bed. I was surprised how lovely the apartment was. Wish we had been there for another night

Nothing to not like

Great overly spacious size with a double-shower, two bedrooms with large beds (not sure if Queen or King), lounge room with big TV & kitchen. Welcome cookies and waters were a nice touch. The shower was massive so great to use except slightly slippery floor tiles in there. Free parking behind. Friendly staff.

A few hairs were found in both beds. Shower floor tiles slightly slippery (they might be wall tiles used on floor), car park is not secured (should have a cardkey swiper to open the gate), 10am checkout is pretty early for a premium apartment.

This property exceeded our expectations. After booking we were greeted with fantastic communication from the owners; which made the process of checking in and parking super quick and simple. Then, when we entered our room we were surprised to find such a large, clean and beautiful space, with a personalised welcome note and sweet treats to enjoy. This properties attention to detail and value for money makes it one that we will look forward to revisiting when returning to Whyalla.

Situated in a lovely old building the apartment was clean, modern, spacious and welcoming. A thoughtful personal note awaited us with fruit chocs, lollies, bottles of water, coffee pods and milk. The towels were plush, bed large and comfortable with expensive soaps etc. reception was very obliging when I lost my card and our little dogs loved it too.

The place suited our needs perfectly.

Location was good, right in CBD area however, CBD is dying in this town and not much shopping and next to no cafe culture anywhere.

Self contained apartment units with cooking facilities is a great enhancement, however Housekeeping need to be mindful to ensure fridge and freezer are emptied of previous gusts food products. I found a whole bag of Prawn waste stored in the freezer. Obviously placed there by a prior guest to prevent bad odours!

Comfort of the apartment and spaciousness and modern bathroom plus the amenities are plentiful

The room I was in had strong lights, from the neighbouring factory behind on all night, the block out blinds blocked most of it but still had some light coming through but nothing could be done unless they put outside window blind on it

Great sized appartment. Huge bathroom. Little treats such as Fruchocs, mentos and bottled water! Beautiful old building. The most helpful, considerate staff I’ve ever had at a hotel anywhere in the world!! They looked after our laundry and even folded it and returned it yo our room, so we could go out and enjoy ourselves! They were absolutely outstanding!!

The microwave is hidden in a cupboard above the fridge, so had to stand on a chair to use it.

Loved the size of the apartment and the styling of the bathroom. Great welcome "hamper" with some snacks and water was also great. Simple check in with app based key.

Shower head needs to be replaced. Although it looks like the bathroom had been renovated and been styled very well - half the opening in the shower head were clogged and the overall shower as a result was pretty disappointing. A minor thing - but a potentially easy fix.
