Tracy and Colin were very friendly and welcoming. The guest house had a real family atmosphere and we felt very comfortable and at ease. It felt like home, and not like you were staying in someone else's house! The bedrooms and bathrooms were absolutely immaculate and the owners obviously have high standards of cleanliness as shared bathrooms and toilets were regularly checked and were spotless. We loved the funky animal themes! Breakfast was hot, tasty and filling, with a good range of cereals too. Plant based diets were also catered for. Westbrook Lodge prides itself on inclusivity and diversity and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. If you love plants and cacti, you'll be in heaven here 😁
We liked everything!

Had a very nice stay in Westbrook. It set in a quiet residential area off the main road through to margate. With a Tesco express just round the corner for ease of supplies! At the end of the road, just a 2 minute walk, was the seafront where you could access the beach via steps and walk the promenade down to margates main beach. I did this route every day took about 15/20mins. I thought Tracy and Colin were very friendly and welcoming people. And their cats were super cute and friendly too! The room I had was an ensuite by the entrance, which was great being a smoker, with easy access to their patio/smoking area. Big bright room with comfortable bed and tea/coffee making facilities. And even a mini fridge to keep drinks cool! They had a bar/dining area where breakfast was served. With the bar being open from about 4pm, where you could find Tracy and Colin to serve you reasonably priced drinks, from a wide selection of flavoured gins, vodkas and rum! Great for a solo traveller like me to be able to have a drink and a chat with the hosts. Will definitely book again when I return to margate in the near future. Thank you guys for such a lovely few days stay

We stayed in this lovely place for 2 nights on Eastern holiday. We were in a family room with one double bed and 2 bunk beds. The room was very nice, clean and spacious. We had a beautiful sea/garden view through a nice coloured glass window. The beds were comfy, and we had plenty of coffee and tea supplies with a kettle. There was also a hairdryer in the room. When we asked for an iron and an ironing board, we got them in a second. Just outside our room was a station with a great selection of family games, board games, toys, coulouring books, children's bookes, crayons, and even a DVD device with various movies. We had clean tiwels in the room beside the sink. We had a room without a private bathroom, but there were 3 shared bathrooms, 2 of them had a shower, and all were immaculate and smelled nice every single time. Colen and Tracy were very nice to us and very hospitable. They kindly let us leave our luggage when we arrived too early for check-in time, and when we came back, the suitcase was already in the room. They even allowed us to leave half an hour later than the checkout time. Colin has advised us on walks and interesting sights to see. The place is very close to a nearby sandy beach that is quiet and very family friendly. It is a 10-minute walk from the train station, 10 minutes from a miniature golf course, and a 15-minute walk from Margate main sands and city centre. You can reach all these areas strolling through the promenade enjoying the beautiful sea side. I just want to thank Tracy and Colin for the nice time we had, and I believe this is the 1st visit of many to come..

Great location to stroll down to the beach after work. The room was clean with everything you may need. Fresh milk for tea or coffee if you wanted it. This was an added nice touch with a mini fridge to keep it in, e ssential as it was really hot while we were there! The hosts were a really lovely couple too.
The weather was extremely hot during our stay, and unfortunately, due to safety requirements, you were not able to open the sash window fully which would have been nice just to let more of a breeze into the room.

Set in a lovely pieceful part of Margate with a lovely sea view from the front, we could see the sea when we put our head out the window. Tracey and Collin where most welcoming and we really enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was very tasty and good value just like the stay. I chose this stay due to the good reviews and the good price and it did not disappoint at all. We did some wonderful activities like a lovely walk along the sea front into to Margate. We also really enjoyed a walk around the coastal front from Margate through to Broadstairs and finishing in Ramsgate at the largest weatherspoons in the UK with amazing beach views. Watching the sun go down over the sea at the 42 club roof top terrace is a must and our highlight of the three day stay.
There wasn't a thing we didn't enjoy about our stay here and would definitely stay again. Keep up the wonderful work.

Tracey and Colin such lovely hosts. Myself and friend had a disastrous start to our overnight stay in Margate to attend a concert at Dreamland. Booking we had originally made was non existent when we arrived after a 3.5 hour drive. Fortunately we contacted Westbrook Lodge Guest House and they were able to accommodate us. Our room was beautifully clean and had everything to make our stay comfortable. Hosts were so welcoming and kind. Had a lovely hour or so chatting with them. Great location for Dreamland, easy walking distance. Nice garden area, good parking facilities, a lovely little bar area and an excellent breakfast in the morning. Definitely recommend.

Loved the showers loved the cats 🐈 hosts were very welcoming. Charged my mobility scooter which was very kind. I am also into some vintage fashion myself and loved artwork around the house. Very clean and given tea/kettle and a sink in room which is nice. Lovely smoking area.i personally liked the location also & the black out blinds were lovely too. I did struggle a little with stairs but need to move when possible for health reasons. We would love to stay again. Felt very welcome. Thank you.
Only thing that wasn't so good was the bed but only slightly we had a good night sleep just woke up with a bit of a back ache but that is the only thing as it was a springy mattress could do with a matress topper as the springs dig in to you. But this is the only thing that was not so good but we slept okay not a big issue.

Westbrook Lodge has many qualities. First, it is ideally located - a short walk East along the beach takes you to Margate and its many activities & nightlife; a short walk West along the beach takes you to charming Westgate; yet the guest house is in a peaceful and quiet neighbourhood. Spotless clean, well-equipped and looked after, it offers spacious comfortable rooms, and there is a possibility to have a homemade breakfast for a very reasonable price. But the best thing about Westbrook Lodge is its hosts - welcoming and attentive, Tracy & Colin provided fantastic recommendations and lovely chats. They go above and beyond for their guests, truly care, and take pride in their business. I had the cosiest of stays - thank you Tracy & Colin!

Great location few yards from the seafront , super clean , great decor, good price , the owners go that extra mile on service, it was my birthday and they even gave me a card and birthday cake and chocolates what was a great surprise and these little touches make this the place you need to stay if your visiting anywhere near Margate . The dining area is well laid out and again great decor , and the breakfast itself was perfect! Thanks again for a great weekend. Shaun
Nothing to dislike , it’s perfect .

The hosts Colin & Tracey were brilliant, nothing was too much trouble for them. Westbrook Guest House is in the perfect location for either a nice relaxing stroll along Westgate Beach or literally a 15 minute walk into the bustling seaside town of Margate with it's amusements,, quirky pubs and plenty of good places to eat! The Shell Grotto in Margate is definitely worth a visit. Fish & chips at Petes fish bar was the best! The actual room was spotless, (No.10) with an ensuite bathroom, everything provided, was literally home from home, couldn't have asked for more. We opted for breakfast which is an additional cost, but really good value for money and was lovely. Also, free parking which is an added bonus for a property so close to the seafront (literally a 2 min walk !) Couldn't of asked for a better place to stay! Thank you Colin & Tracey!
Was nothing not to like!
