Amazing location right in the centre of old town, walking distance to anything and everything you needed (independent shops and restaurants in the old town, close to the edge of Cliftonville, stones throw from the beach, minutes walk from the main high street, and a massive Morrisons nearby for any grocery needs). The actual accommodation itself was so clean, the owners were so lovely and accommodating, the process for check in was extremely straightforward and being able to do it in advance was really great. Couldn’t recommend enough. And the TV even had guest accounts for some of the streaming services (which we very much enjoyed using). The shower and its water pressure was also one of the best we’ve ever experienced!

No negatives about the accommodation, just a recommendation for anyone needing advice on parking, the streets surrounding the accommodation are all restricted (Mon - sat, no parking without permit until post 6pm unless you’re only parking for up to 2 hours). As soon as restrictions lift, there is space on the street to park, so what we did was go and park in Morrisons! You can park in there for up to 24 hours at a time via Ringo but the only negative to this is that they actually shut the car park with full on shutters. So fine if you don’t need access to your car overnight but otherwise you then need to move in the evening to the street parking etc.

I had an exceptional experience at Ezestays - Old Town House, Margate, from September 3rd to 5th. The beautifully decorated rooms offered a perfect blend of comfort and style, ensuring a relaxing experience. A special mention goes to Anne Ezekiel, the hotel manager, whose kindness and hospitality made my visit exceptional. The location is excellent, just a 10-minute walk to Margate beach, and there is plenty of free parking available near the hotel. Overall, Ezestays is an ideal choice for anyone visiting Margate. I highly recommend it and would definitely stay again!

We got the room at the top of the building, small but lovely, well decorated, tidy and very clean. There was also a coffee machine and a kettle with some herbal (super useful as I got a stomach ache at night!). Heating was good as outside was quite cold. The host arranged for us an earlier check-in and check-out on the day (previous guest left early, I imagine) which was super helpful to avoid carrying our small cabin bag around town. Location is perfect. First time I used an app to access an hotel, so remember to download it ahead of your departure and follow the instructions you receive via email!

The only very minor issue was the stairs as I was travelling with my mum, our room was on the third floor and the stairs were a bit steep towards the top. We managed well in the end, just be mindful of this if you're travelling with people with disabilities, injuries or just elderly peeps (I think this applies for most of the towns like Margate, as there aren't many lifts around!). There are other rooms available on the lower floors, the host was very kind about it but unfortunately a room swap wasn't possible that weekend.

This place exceeded all our expectations and spoilt us for all future stays elsewhere. Location was perfect. The bedding and towels were quality, the bed was the best we have ever slept in and we’ve travelled extensively. The room was decorated to perfection. It was immaculately clean throughout. Mark and Anne have though of everything the coffee machine was great and easy to use. They provided Yorkshire tea which we love, the toiletries were beautiful too. It was a perfect stay.

There was nothing we didn’t like. We had a problem with checking in and using the electronic key pad entry but it was us not the system but Mark and Anne were very patient and helped us sort it out.

Perfect location, close to the beachfront and restaurants, approx 10 mins walk from Margate train station. Although a bit on the snug side, the room was immaculately clean and comfortable and also has an aircond that actually works! Anne was welcoming and friendly. Check in/access via the app was straightforward. Would definitely stay here again if we visited Margate again. Thank you.

The room didn't have any extra space for one but it would have been nice to have a chair in the room. Sometimes you just want to sit on a chair and not on the bed. Minor point really.

This little room was right in the heart of the old town just a minute away from the beach. The bed was comfy and cosy and very clean. The area was safe and there's a great fish and chip shop just round the corner.

It didn't bother me but it is on the top floor and there's no lift so if you have heavy suitcases it would be difficult. I had a car so had to pay for parking at a car park down the road. It was quite expensive

Perfect location & remote access worked well. The property is newly renovated & very well designed with high quality fittings, particularly the excellent en-suite shower room. Extremely comfortable super king bed. Spotlessly clean; both the room & common areas. Perfectly situated on a square in the charming old town, spitting distance to independent shops, galleries & places to eat or drink. Secure parking just 2 minutes away under the nearby Morrisons. Excellent communication with Ann throughout, even called just after we’d checked out to say we’d left a phone charger, so we could retrieve before heading home. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Last minute booking, very smart top floor apartment in recently renovated town house right in the centre of Margate old Town. Everything of the highest standard. We had gorgeous big bath, which was on the open mezzanine of our apartment (so may not be for you if you like your privacy but was just fine for us!).

Check in seemed complicated (via app) but fortunately we were met by the owner as we arrived so didn’t have to work it out!

It is the best location in Margate. Right in the middle of the Old Town with a lot of cool bars and restaurants. It is minutes walking from everywhere ( the beach, the turner center, and the train station). The place is super clean, and the decor is amazing. The Bed, OMG…. It is hard to find a place with such a comfortable bed and sheets. Everything is premium. Check in is super easy. You do it online , download an app and receive a code to open the doors with your own mobile. The owners are super helpful. Even I didn’t meet in person, they answered my messages straight away. I will deff stay again.

We had the top floor room. It was cosy and beautifully maintained. The hand wash smelled so good I wanted to keep it! A lovely quiet spot in the heart of old town. The digital check-in was easy and efficient. Will be recommending to friends and family.

Nothing! The stairs were narrow but that's the building and can't be changed. No faults at all.
