Housed in a historically interesting building, this is a wonderful place to stay. The bedroom was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom, which was next door to it, was well equipped and had an excellent shower. Breakfasts were generous. A ove all, Tim is a friendly, helpful host.

The staircase might be challenging for someone with mobility problems.

Absolutely everything the lovely gentleman went above and beyond! The lady who cleans the room even gave us a lift into Margate which was so kind and absolutely not ever expected and the price was amazing. Do not hesitate to book this! I really think this is worth so much more than the price it is with an added bonus of the most beautiful little 🐶🐕

Tim, our host was very welcoming and friendly. We liked the relaxed atmosphere, free on street parking and closeness to the railway station.. Great breakfast. Cute pets which we enjoyed too. Felt like home.

Plumbing a little bit noisy as bedroom next to shared bathroom but not too much of an issue.

The location was great and the area is nice and peaceful. Tim was very friendly and welcoming and a great host. The room and the house were lovely. The provision of a nice breakfast was a great added touch, along with a kettle and vast supply of various teas, coffee and milk in the bedroom.

Me Michelle and my partner Daniel really loved our stay . Tim is a really nice gentleman kind and friendly. We loved the cat midnight and the little dog Louie . It was just a great relaxing atmosphere .

Tim was very welcoming and hospitable and Louis the dog and Midnight the cat were joyful company. The room was very comfortable and had everything I needed for my two night stay. The property is quite literally a stone's throw away from the sea so is perfect for those wishing to explore the coastline. Would highly recommend for those visiting Birchington.

The breakfast was a good continental with a reasonable selection. Host was welcoming and available. The room was nice and with a kettle and an abundance of tea and coffee options. I really enjoyed the laid back atmosphere which did make one feel at home.

Just a little word of warning about the narrow and quite steep stairs.

Tim was lovely! The bedroom was awesome with a sea view and extremely clean, such a comfortable bed, we had a very good night sleep! Breakfast was a fabulous spread. Very much appreciated!! Thank you so much Tim! We will definitely be back when we’re next in the area! X

This might best be described as a 'homestay' B&B. Tim, the host, was welcoming, friendly and discreet. The room was lovely, facing out over the Thames estuary and the bed comfy. Continental breakfast was DIY with Tim having set out everything on the kitchen table the night before. Louis, the pug chihuahua cross, will also give you a very friendly welcome. Lots of parking space on the road outside.

Nothing much to dislike really. Just be sure you are comfortable with a homestay style of B&B.

Very homily, we were told to treat the house as we were at home, a view of the see from the bedroom. To ask for anything we needed, allowed to help ourselves to extra milk . The pets also made us very welcome, especially louis, the dog. 😊 Tim was very welcoming. The beach is just down the footpath. the town was within walking distance , train station very close. Lovely peaceful location.

There is nothing I didn't like. Just a little suggestion: a boiled egg with breakfast would be nice..
