We stayed in a lovely room with a kettle for tea and coffee. There's a small fridge to put things in. Beautiful clean hotel white sheets clean towels with daily service cleaning. It's perfectly well located to the beach front for lovely walks. There's a great selection of local shops. Also restaurants, bars and coffee shops. Some with beautiful sea views. Easy parking outside. Our host Alan greeted us on arrival and said to contact him if we needed anything, but it was all provided in our room. A lovely bright room with ample storage for our belongings. Easy access to information for the WiFi in the room and an excellent welcome information book. Our shower was perfect. We also had beautiful sunshine 🌞 but would still be a great location for sea view walks on blustery days if you bring the right walking gear. We will hopefully come back and enjoy this spot again.

Not the biggest of rooms, but it had everything we needed, and we were just using it as a base as we were out making the most of where we were.

The location was 5 mins away from Quex Park where we taking part in a festival, on street parking was fine. The room was lovely and cosy and the shower was amazing. Check in was easy as the owners sent clear instructions on how to get the keys. Would definitely stay here again. Hope next year if we're booked on at the festival again

Could not fault anything.

Check in was easy and the room was spotlessly clean. I liked the fact that there was plenty of tea bags, some places only leave 2 tea bags and its never enough but Bay Lodge left plenty in our room. Bed was comfy and the room was of a good size

Much of the furniture was of a dark brown which looked like it could do with being a bit more modern. A number of the bathroom floor tiles in our room was cracked which made the room look a bit tired.

Room was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The key box arrangement worked well and the information from the owners was clear and easy to follow. The location was ideal for our needs and parking was easy.

Nothing springs to mind that we didn’t like. Though, we did put a Please Do Not Disturb sign on the door as we prefer not to have our room serviced if we are only staying for a couple of days and the room was serviced while we were out. But not a problem.

The location was lovely, very quiet, has its own entrance. The room is really lovely, exceptionally clean and comfortable. It has everything you could need. The bed was amazing! We slept so well. The bathroom is beautiful and was also very clean.

The only teenie tiny issue with the room was the fan. It looks great but as it’s metal it vibrates so it’s a little noisy and could be annoying. It was very humid the night of our stay and even with the windows open we still needed the fan on. But it’s not a massive issue. The only other thing was that as we booked through Booking.com the property instructions say the ‘entrance is in Dane Rd’. We had a little trouble finding it because a huge van was parked right in front of the gate so as we drove past we couldn’t find it. But that is in now way a reflection on this lovely place but a picture of the gate you’re looking for on booking.com might be helpful.

Fantastic quiet location, 3 mins walk from Minnis Bay seafront and just 10-15 mins walk to Birchington town centre. Lovely clean bedroom and ensuite, v comfortable bed. Didn't see landlord/lady but v friendly and attentive cleaning staff. V reasonably priced too, especially considering I was there in peak season. Cannot recommend highly enough A+++

On-road parking a bit limited at times, had to find a space 2-3 mins walk up the road on a couple of occasions but by no means a show-stopper.

Very well maintained, clean, tidy and well presented. Nice little touches such as sweets in the fridge, box of tissues and a fan. Some thought certainly went into the room. Shower was very good and we were very impressed with the whole place.

I was so very impressed and relieved to find such a clean, cosy and comfortable room. My stay was very calm and restful. The Lodge is located very near a convenience store, as well as being a short walk from the beautiful sea-front.

I cannot fault Bay Lodge.

I did not have breakfast at the baylodge but there was a great cafe 1 min away

You are hard pushed to find anything I didn't like,the room was great with a lovely feel to the place,very relaxing and clean a fresh.the bathroom was nicely decorated with a good shower,the bed was extremely comfortable and made for a good night's sleep

Lovely little guest house near the sea. Clean. Good sized room. Bathroom was lovely. Had a good TV and a fridge all I needed for my stay. The owner was lovely and he made sure we were comfortable.

We had great weather that weekend so it was a bit warm at night but I did have a fan so ok..
