Great location, central to amenities still away enough from bars to maintain good rest. Amazing view from private balcony. Good mattress and mini fridge. Excellent hot and cold buffet breakfast spread - very generous selections (defo, worth an early rise). Hotel's own segment of lakeside is priceless. (Family friendly with playground, table tennis, mini golf facilities) I would be happy to return

TV could be updated to satellite, multilingual channels (it shouldn't be a problem in these digital days)

The hotel location is great for being close to the main street but still far from the noise. The room was in excellent condition. Sparkling clean bathroom and well maintained furniture. There is a mosquito net on the balcony. There are car spots for short stop in front of the entrance. The parking area is on 5 minutes of walk with many trees to keep it in shade. I highly recommend the breakfast. There are plenty of options including diet. Everything tastes very well. There is a dedicated access to the lake for hotel guests.

Double bed consist of two single beds with the gap in between.

Perfect location in low/shoulder-season, with direct access to the Lake with plenty of sun-loungers. Train and bus stations are 8 mins. boat station is 5 mins walk. The breakfast is always plentiful. The rooms are comfortable (considering the price with realistic expectations) with mini-fridge, balcony with mosquito net and TV . /Improvement of tv channels, new shower curtain and luggage stand are appreciated/ I would like to highlight the positive impact to the image of this hotel: the professional and attentive receptionist lady and the kind and helpful young barman. Overall, I would be happy to return

Torn curtain and towel, half broken fridge (wouldn't even mention these nuisances but an extra fee was charged for specific request of room 411. Therefore, I was expected to be in better condition)

Breakfast and the staff was excellent. Would love to have fresh fruit for breakfast, but otherwise great selection. The entire staff was outstanding: Front Desk, Housekeeping, Breakfast, Cafe. Love the location: right by the lake with private beach. Close enough to restaurants and activities, but not too close to the concert venue and the noise from the street. We watched the sunset every evening at the private beach. Lots of activities onsite. We love the place and will recommend to friends.

Very central location - it was quite noisy during the night. You need to pay extra for the A/C 11€ per night and the parking 9€ per night.

Great location, beach, english speaking personal, big room with great view

Guests with dogs were allowed to take their pets to the beach - dogs runing around alone, peeing on the trees and grass, even swiming in the water. As we are a family with small kids, I do not consider swimming next to dogs very hygienical and also if the dogs are allowed to pee on grass and trees, how should I let my kids to run around? I think any good hotel shouldnt allow this

Hotel Lido exceeded our expectations in every way. We chose it because it was very affordable in terms of price. When we booked it, we received feedback about additional costs - extra payment for the view of Lake Balaton, that there are no towels in the rooms, etc. However, everything was as it should be, clean and tidy, nice bathroom, towels in the bathroom, hair dryer... little things that make the stay more pleasant. The only complaint is that the room was quite small, but it didn't bother us at all, since we also had a balcony (all rooms have them as I saw). A room with a view of the lake since the hotel is right on the shore and close to the center of Siofok. It is surrounded by numerous excellent restaurants, so we didn't make it to the hotel restaurant. The staff was extremely friendly, always at your service. The parking lot is a few hundred meters from the hotel, cheap, and after check-out we were told that we have to pay for each additional hour of using the parking lot, since we wanted to stay a few more hours, but in the end they "gifted" us free parking for that time. I must say that the hotel has its own beach, very nice and clean, equipped with all the necessary furniture. Fantastic view of the lake, swimming and being on that beach is a real pleasure. I believe that we will visit this hotel many more times. It deserves a 10+.

None. Everything was OK. As I said, the only complaint is that the rooms are smaller, everything else was fine. I didn't like that we stayed only 2 days in it

Staff were really helpful, the room was alright, bed was comfortable, there was a fridge in the room, breakfast was fine, the hotel has its own lake side bit with free sunloungers, everything was in working order. Altogether good value for the price we paid. Good location, close to bars and restaurants

Only small things like the shower has shower curtain, the aircon is extra charge, there is no safe.

The breakfast was tasty, quite a varied selection and small differences between days (we were there for 3 nights). Animals are accepted. Nice entrance to the lake with a great view (the beach is private by the way). Plenty of sun-beds as people were coming and going all the time. The room was clean and there is enough room, it has a lovely balcony with an awesome view of the lake. The location is very close to the main promenade and the ferris-wheel, it was a bit noisy on Saturday but quiet for the rest of the stay.

AC costs extra and it's not cheap so we opted out. What I disliked the most is that you check in after 14.00 and pay for parking (per day), but the parking day ends at 11 which means that on the day you check-out (until 10), if you want to spend more time on the beach (which also costs extra) you will not have parking unless you pay by the hour for the time after 11 AM.

Very friendly reception & breakfast staff, breakfast was much better than expected and also partly changed from day to day, nice view to the lake from all rooms + balcony, great private buch with enough sun beds, not far away from the train station and supermarkets/shops, good (rather hard) matress and an overall very cost/performance ratio - will come back again! :)

Indeed WIFI was not constantly working and I guess nowadays this shouldn't be an issue anymore. Second thing was soundproofing from other rooms - when one had a shower you heard the tubes quite loudly. Small improvement idea: Replace the shower head for just a few euros, the existing one is very simple
