⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Perfect Stay at Leonidas Apartments in Kamari! We recently stayed at Leonidas Apartments in Kamari and had a truly wonderful experience from start to finish. If you’re considering a trip to Santorini and want a relaxing, clean, and well-located place to stay with incredibly kind staff — this is it. 📍 Location The location couldn’t be better. It’s just a 2–3 minute walk to Kamari Beach, one of the most beautiful and lively spots on the island, yet far enough that it remains peaceful at night. You’re surrounded by cozy cafés, bakeries, local tavernas, supermarkets, and small boutiques — everything you need is within walking distance. There’s also a convenient bus stop nearby, which made it easy for us to explore Fira and Oia without renting a car. The proximity to the airport is also a plus — just a 10-minute drive. 🧹 Cleanliness The apartment was spotlessly clean on arrival, and the daily housekeeping service kept it that way throughout our stay. Towels and bed linens were fresh and smelled great, and even the small kitchen area was perfectly tidy and well-organized. It’s clear that the owners take great pride in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness, which really made us feel at ease and comfortable. 🙋‍♂️ Staff & Hospitality The staff here truly went above and beyond. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm welcome and genuine hospitality. The host (Leonidas himself or a family member, I believe) was incredibly helpful — offering tips on places to visit, the best times to go, and even recommending hidden gems we wouldn’t have discovered on our own. They were always available for questions and made us feel more like friends than guests. It’s rare to feel such a personal touch nowadays, and it really made a difference in our experience.

The apartment was perfect and same as in photos.Kamari IS Best location in Santorini and the APARTMENTS are close to the beach boulevard. The bed and pillow very confortable and you have a terrace where you can have breakfast or dinner in open air with nice quite views with no body walking around. The kitchen IS great. You have everything to Cook a meal if you like and the everything IS new and I. Good conditions to use It as if you were in your house. Good Big fridge and a coffee Nespresso machine. Bathroom IS very new too and Big enought to move. Good Hot wáter and good preasure. The clean the room everyday and if you want a towel change just tell the woman and she does. The owner LEONIDAS was really kind. He left us made us early checkin and late check out. He IS really friendly and Will help you in anything you need. They are always with a smile to help you.Thank you very much LEONIDAS to make Our holidays so lovely and unforgetable.

Kamari IS the BEST place to stay in the island for day and night life with many restaurants and bars and the Big long beach in the boulevard. In Oía or Fira many souvenirs shops and no Beaches at all. You Will need a car to move around wherever you stay. It IS the only way to move. The buses Do not work often and you Will lose your time. Near no the APARTMENTS there is a wonderful restaurant where we ate everyday in the night.AMALIAS TAVERN. Prices are increíble and food was so good quality and tasty than we ate everynight after Our day. Included in the price of the special menús for 2 you have included Two cups of wine. And for everyone you have a free entree and free dessert with ice and cake and finally a licor. And all for 20€ per person. Check the fotos. Increíble!

Everything was perfect for us in this lovely Apartment. The family were always available for advice or information. Rooms cleaned every day, lovely fluffy towels changed practically every day. A very short distance from beach ( would recommend Prince Bar and Restaurant at entrance to the beach, for great service and excellent sun beds and umbrellas which are free of charge, if drinks are bought, minimum €10 per person. Overall it was a great destination and certainly made better by our wonderful hosts.

Everything was excellent.

The location is great, quiet but central. The service is professional, good communication without being intrusive. And cleaned daily. Balcony at the front and back. Good variety of restaurants (Fistikies restaurant was our favourite, we ate here 3 times! 😋, Bacchus on the way to the open air cinema serves nice Moussaka ,🇬🇷).

No pool but the sea is just around the corner and great for swimming. Also the transport system is bad, all buses need to go through Fiera and taxis are a complete ripoff for such short journeys (it's a small island)

The property exceeds my expectations looking brilliant in reality compared with the pictures provided. We rented an apartment which was indeed spacious for 2 adults and 2 children, high ceils, recently painted (2024) nothing was left behind in order to welcome guests. Very close to the beach (2-3 minutes walk) and local amenities, also main bus stop for Fira in case you want to visit. Plenty of restaurants around also. The apartment was cleaned daily while we were at the beach and towels and sheets replaced every few days I believe. Has AC, fridge , a small kitchen, and a wardrobe. The owner is very helpful ordering me a taxi every time I needed one and also provides details about best beach area to use( an the cheapest). I understand there are some pictures on google maps added by various users with a pool, please understand that is not part of this property is just someone else hotel’s pool, visible from the apartment’s balcony as all the properties in the area are packed and closed to each other.

For its category it’s absolutely perfect. Location in Kamari provides a very quick access to the beaches with facilities as well as places with very good kitchen. The house is impeccably clean, Leonidas is very responsive and friendly. He can organize a transfer both to and from the airport. You can be sure that coffee capsules and sugar will be renewed, your bed will be tidied up, the floor and the dust cleaned, and Leonidas will help to resolve any possible problem.

Maybe the only minus I can find is the lack of the strong wifi signal. My phone was always losing the network, maybe a couple of repeaters in the rooms will make the place even better — but I don’t want to nag, it is overshadowed by the perfect service from the other aspects

Leonidas apartments are nice, self catered rooms in the perfect location for central kamari (about 2 mins to the beach!). The rooms are clean, and have all the basics that you need, as well as a couple luxuries such as a smart TV. Leonidas himself was so helpful, and organised private airport transfers for us both ways. He let us stay in the room til 2pm on the day we departed so that we didn't have to carry our luggage round! The room was cleaned every day, had great air con, and quite comfortable. Although the apartment was quite small and basic, it's all you need, especially if you spend most of the day out exploring the gorgeous island!

One slight thing we did notice was that there was a smell of sewage coming from either the water or the drains in the bathroom. This could've been because of buildup in the drains if they hadn't been used for a while but it was quite unpleasant.

We loved the apartment. It was large for a family of 4 with two separate bedroom areas, and had everything we needed. Leonidas was so welcoming and allowed us to check in very early and check out very late! This allowed us to have a full extra day in Santorini within the comfort of the apartment. The location is great, right next to the beach and walkable to everything including the bus stop to Thira. Leonidas also recommended what we should do during our short stay which helped make it more memorable, and he arranged transfers to and from the port and airport. The only thing we would mention is that the kitchen/living area with the two beds was very warm due to the air con being in the main bedroom, but luckily we had a portable fan which helped with that!

We had a great time at Leonidas Apartments. The host is very welcoming and kind, provided us with all the information we needed, and was always open to communication. The room was very clean, it was cleaned daily, and the towels were changed every two days. Everything was very inviting, and the staff was very friendly. I highly recommend staying here. Everything was wonderful and very close to the beach, about a 2-minute walk.

The room was nice and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The room was clean and we received fresh towels everyday. The bathroom was nice, with a well working shower. The location was very good, was only a couple minute walk to the beach and multiple bars and restaurants. The host was very kind and accommodating and organised us transfer from the port and to the airport. Very good value for money would definitely recommend.
