Fred was the best host we ever had. We had to wake him up 1 am as the flight was delayed. He was great on picking up my calls. Also made us comfortable straight away. He was generous and took his time to give us history of the island, places to visit and eat. He got us booked at Metaxi Mas even after we checked out of Luna Rossa. Luna Rosa itself is great place to stay. With it's small swimming pool with pool bar it was great for family afternoon. Staff was wonderful and breakfast was good. 6:50am sunrise from the balcony was cherry on the cake.

Everything was great. Nothing I could complain about.

It is no exaggeration to say we have over the top service from Fred, Kostas and the entire team. They really made sure we got we wanted, detailed information on tours and restaurants to customised tours. They only work with partners they trust and you can count on the reasonable prices and quality. Location is perfect as it is quiet enough, next to bus stop and just 20m from the gorgeous Caldera view if you walk across the road. Pool is perfect as we have a kid still learning swimming and the depth & length was just right so she doesn't end up standing in the pool all the time. By the end of our stay (3 nights), she could swim way much better than back home. Many thanks to Fred, who was even there to bid us goodbye. Classy elderly gentleman but very able, and my only regret was not having spend enough time to hear his stories. Watch out also for a white cat, who is a ball of fun to play with.

At times, the floor feels a bit sticky after cleaning. Not sure why. Otherwise all really perfecto.

Dear future Santorini travelers, I cannot recommend you enough Luna Rossa. It is rare to have an experience that you will remember for a lifetime but that’s what we had in Luna Rossa. Everything was perfect…we chose location due to the close proximity to our wedding venue but it is perfect location to also visit Oia and Fira. We had a pleasure to meet lovely team who treated us as friends from first hello. Room was great, cleaned daily, pool area is renovated with infinity pool and views which take you to another world. Music was perfect for daily lounge with amazing host taking care of drinks, music, entire area. Kostas - manager was always ready to support and gave us great tips what to visit. Ladies of the house were lovely and supported us during the dinner. Biggest thank you goes to most interesting gentleman we have ever met, Mr Fred, the owner. Thank you for sharing your wisdom with us and making us feel at home. The world is honored to have you.

The location was ideal as situated very centrally between Fira and Oia. Parking located on property. We had a washing machine in our room. Delicious breakfast. Beautiful views from both sides of the apartment. The best part of our stay were the people. The owner Fred was the best part of our entire trip to Greece. So friendly, warm, helpful and generous. I highly recommend this place.

Kostas was amazing and super helpful. Prior to our arrival he helped us out with a rental car and restaurant reservations. Upon arrival he gave us tips for the island as well. Place was great..quiet...away from the noise of Fira and Oia. Infinity pool was amazing! I'd definitely recommend !!

The rooms are very spacious, bright and clean with great sunrise views. We were equipped with free bottled water everyday and ours rooms cleaned daily. Breakfast in the room is good value, although we had to be a little laid back about the time it would arrive. The infinity pool and sun-lounging area is idyllic with a pool bar serving drinks. The hotel is just across the road from the Fira to Oia walking trail so great for walking into either but a good pair of walking shoes/trainers needed for the walk to Oia. Also on the main bus route intact the bus stops outside. The restaurants around are very pricy although we managed to find a great taverna about 10 mins walk along the trail towards Fira called Tasos Taverna. They do authentic Greek food at reasonable prices. We ate there every night and always had a warm welcome.

It’s on a very busy main road which can be a little noisy but we got used to it.

While location of the property is exceptionally good, what made our stay memorable was the owners. Not even for a single momoent we felt we were on a trip and it felt like home. My 3 years old daughter got ao attached with Fred and his wife that she keeps asking about them even now as grandpa and grandmom. From terrace and rooms, you can see both Sunset and Sinrise. Property is very beautiful and well maintained. Bus stand is just opposite to the property but I will suggest to have your rented vehicle. It enhances travel experience. Fred helped us like a father figure, explaining what are the best sites to visit and what to avoid with my kid. First thing he gave us was a map of Santorini...which really helped a lot. He also helped us get a rented vehicle and helped in arranging boat trip ro Volcano and nearby Island. All in all, it was more than a stay, but a very beautiful memory we made in Santorini. Never have I ever stayed till now in such a heavenly place, whose owners are so lovely that it leaves an impression of lifetime.

There was nothing to dislike. Everything was exceptionally good.

We loved that we were treated like family by the owner Fred and his wife. They treated us like royalty going above and beyond in exceeding our needs. This trip was a gift from my bestie and I to our daughters, for their various graduations. We were 5 women whose luggage did not make the flight from Athens with us.Having only 3 days in Santorini, Fred did not let us waste our time trying to locate it. He made the continuous mostly unanswered calls to the airline the whole next day, even driving to the airport to figure it all out! All while we were sightseeing and enjoying our prebooked catamaran excursion. He even went above and beyond setting up a birthday celebration for my youngest (23) on our last night with a gorgeous cake and champagne. The rooms were lovely and mine had plenty of room for the 3 of us. The breakfasts made and delivered by his wife to our rooms were healthy,fresh and abundant. Poolside relaxation and drinks were lovely especially after the hike to Oia and was only made more enjoyable by hearing the tales of Fred's fascinating life. (He's 82 years young!) Highly recommend the Luna Rossa!

There wasn't much we didn't love- but maybe the last hill on the road when walking back from town 😉

Luna Rossa is a lovely boutique hotel located conveniently between Fira & Oia. It is run by a very family oriented staff who offer warm hospitality and very friendly and efficient service with a smile. Truly lovely people. We can’t thank Fred enough for his very personable style, knowledge and welcoming attitude and Kostas for patiently explaining the various things to do across Santorini, restaurant recommendations as well as arranging for a car rental to be dropped off and picked up at the hotel. Truly going above & beyond!

Nothing not to like about the property which is very clean and well maintained.
