Location10/10 , best views in santorini all day long .quiet , relaxing and staff were excellent .Restaurant was superb . We didn’t need to leave the property ( apart from our stunning walks to Oia and thira. Highly recommend and we will be back. ( This was our second stay at the xenones Filotera)

This was our second time at Xenones Filotera and we can confirm that they are still incredible. The staff are all great people, kind, attentive and helpful with any requests. The property has some of the best views on the island and it is maintained beautifully. Exceptional breakfast with a view. All other food and drinks are also amazing. Thank you to Julia, Kristina and the rest of the team, we will be sure to book here again whenever we are back to Santorini!

We loved the view each morning and evening. The location was excellent as it was between the two big towns and easy to get to. Staff were all excellent and really made our stay so much more enjoyable. We had breakfast there each morning, really enjoyed it. Lots of choice our favorite was the chocolate pancakes. We had a few lunches and dinners here and couldn't fault the food, it was very tasty. We highly recommend the cocktails.

We couldn't find an faults during our stay and would be happy to stay here again and would recommend to our family and friends to stay here if they are visiting Santorini.

All Staff were exceptional & happy to accommodate or help with anything.. Food was excellent; a wonderful selection and choice at breakfast and every order was sublime… well presented and delicious. Location was just stunning. Bedding and towels so clean and freshly scented (We loved this) Staff were immaculate and well presented in their appearance. Would def like to visit again.

I can’t say there was anything we didn’t like. My preference would be a more modern and contemporary furnished style room but I appreciate that’s not every one’s choice. The furnishings and location made the room quite dark, however, it’s location tucked away kept it cool and quiet which was appreciated too. The breakfast, restaurant and pool areas were very contemporary. Menu choices were good, but as time restrained, we would have appreciated the chance to access more light meals or snacks through the day as well as into the evening. Bar well stocked and coffee was good.

Amazing view, lovely helpful staff and lots of choices for breakfast. We were upgraded to the honeymoon suite, which was roomy and elegant and which we really appreciated. From our beautiful, modern room, we could see sunrises and sunsets. Spectacular!

The black mold in the shower grout was our only complaint. We mentioned it to the staff and they may have tried to clean it, but since we were upgraded from a lesser room, we didn’t make a big deal about it. That said, if we’d paid full fare, we would have been very unhappy. Additional notes: the pool deck overlooks the rooms with hot tubs so they aren’t private. While we knew Santorini is more expensive than most other Greek islands, we were very surprised that the Xenones bar charges 17€ for a basic margarita. We like to walk but it should also be mentioned that this hotel is a 20 min walk from Imerovigli so if you’re not very mobile and don’t want to pay 35€ for a taxi, you’ll be limited to the hotel’s restarurant.

The views from the terrace were spectacular with perfect views of the Caldera and sunset. Because it’s set on the top of a ridge, you could see the sea on the other side of the island at the top of the hotel. The restaurant and bar areas were set nicely to take advantage of the views and service was available all day. Our room was very spacious but quite minimalist in style. The pool is a decent size. Breakfast was reasonable for a small hotel. It’s right on the walk from Fira to Oia.

The music from the bar area was repetitive, too loud and all dodgy covers on an endless loop. Very annoying after a while. It’s about a 25 minute walk to the village of Imerovigli but it’s a bit of a hike uphill and we didn’t feel we could just pop up for lunch in the heat during the day. The views are great from the walk though so ok in the evening. You’ll need your phone torch for parts of the walk back at night but it’s much easier back as downhill. The evening menu for the restaurant is very expensive and more limited choice. We thought the quality was good though. The menu was good for lunch. The bathroom could use a refresh but was clean.

This hotel has one of the best views in Santorini (Caldera and Aegan sea views). The staff are extremely kind and welcoming (thank you Maria and Dina for making our stay a pleasant and warm experience). The breakfast options were really great and much better than we expected. We would definitely visit again.

Getting to and from this hotel will be difficult if you don’t hire a car or an ATV. Coming and going by foot is possible but it will be exhausting and tiresome especially when it gets hot in the day.

The hotel is in a quieter part of Immerovigli, right on the caldera. It has amazing views, sunset on the West, sunrise on the East. The rooms are well equipped, comfortable, with AC working well and quietly. The breakfast is worth getting. It's a buffet style with many local flavours. And it can be had while enjoying the caldera view. Hard to top that. The lunch/dinner options are quite good and reasonably priced for the area. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The pool is clean, good size (with caldera view) and quite deep.

The parking lot is small and getting out can be tricky having to back out of the narrow lot, but there is additional parking (albeit not very many) on the surrounding streets.

The location was so peaceful, yet Fira and Oia were within easy reach. The rooms with the caldera view and hot tub were fantastic. Waking up to have a delicious breakfast or having a drink at sunset with the incredible caldera view made our holiday truly special. Sunset at Xenones is magical! Staff was really friendly and helpful, a special mention to Maria at the reception as she deserves a 10plus!

The rooms with the hot tub with the best view over the caldera are fantastic, but the only negative is the breakfast location above them can make your mornings a bit noisy - especially if you’d like to sleep in. Either than that everything was perfect.
