Short walk to bars, restaurants and beach. Very nice, welcoming staff, very clean. Great pool facilities but maybe turn down the volume of music a notch

The Marianna is a fine family run hotel with friendly helpful staff, good well appointed air conditioned rooms mostly with good views over pool and to the sea. The breakfasts were good with English and Continental options. The pool was sunny and mostly sheltered from the winds which are typical of the Aegean Islands. Good Pool Bar with snacks and meals available. The Marianna is a short walk from the Persissa sea front which is a lively resort with many traditional Greek tavernas. There are some great walks around the hotel, including a spectacular short walk/climb to a quaint church half way up the nearby mountain and a much longer walk to the Ancient Thira site on top of the mountain.

It is hard to think of anything not to like about the Marianna Hotel. The only regret was that Booking.Com refused to honour the discount on the hotel price afforded to repeat customers, despite several phone calls and email messages when I booked last September. To be clear this was in no way the fault of the Marianna Hotel.

Great little hotel, so close to the beach. Breakfast was great and we had a chance to try different bits every day. The owner was super helpful and made sure that everything was fine for us. We would love to stay there again!

The Location is excellent for a lovely quite holiday, five minute walk to the beach, restaurants and bus stop where you can easily explore the island. The bus to Firra the main town was 2.50 euros one way and takes only 35 minutes. The bar man Immi is excellent and wants people to enjoy themselves and Tracey if the fountain of all knowledge and nothing is to much for her. The breakfast is very good and sets you up for the day. We also found the hotel very clean with our sheets and towels be fresh everyday

This is not a criticism just an observation, maybe the bar at the pool could open a little earlier in the evening as it would have been nice to have a drink before heading out.

The hotel is very close to Perissa beach strip, only 5-7 min walk. The rooms are clean and the beds soft and comfortable. The pool is nice there were enough sun beds, but we were in low season. The breakfast is continental, and was fine the staff are very friendly and helpful

The shower in the bathroom leaked a lot , there’s no door/shower curtain so water gets everywhere, and water is leaking from the sides of the shower, we’re not the only people that had this problem. The pool bar offered food so we ordered one day and the food took an hour and a half to come as they outsource to a restaurant down the road.

The location was perfect at the end of the village and an easy walk to the beach, tourist shops, and restaurants. The trailhead to the chapel and the ruins was right next door. The room was clean, bed comfortable, beautiful pool area. Breakfast was great! The woman at breakfast was welcoming and seemed to take pride in her work.

There were a few things that concerned us (we traveled as 2 couples). Our friends’ hot water was sporadic. We were not offered even an initial bottled water. Our friends were told there were no more glasses for a tall beer, yet the bartender was drinking from one. Our friends were told there were no pool towels left, yet not offered an alternative. It was early afternoon. At check in, a tour by the hotel was immediately offered at length which seemed a bit tacky to us. Although the room was nice, the patio was right at the entrance and offered no privacy. I rarely write negative comments on a hotel but these all added up to be a bit frustrating.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a most wonderful sea view and delicious breakfast. It is a family run hotel so you have a feeling someone looks after you rather than doing their job. It is very clean hotel, the pool and the pool area are amazing. The sea view from room 1 was something special. Thank you all at Marianna to make our short stay so special and enjoyable.

We stayed just for one night so not a problem but if I was staying for longer, the lack of the kettle would be a huge inconvenience ; majority of the people like their tea/mint at the end of the day, made the way they like it so I recommend this great hotel for a short stay, just as our was.

The location very close with Perissa beach with beautiful views from mountain and sea. Tracey really nice and helps us book taxi from port and to airport. Next time we upgrade to stay near swimming pool. Breakfast excellent with variety local foods.we will return again every year.

AC quite slow getting cold. Better open the windows to get fresh air from sea.

Marianna Hotel was in an absolutely gorgeous location with the best facilities! The rooms were kitted out with a kitchen and fantastic balcony. The breakfast every morning was absolutely delicious and the pool and bar was to die for! And we absolutely loved the friendly and helpful staff! Would definitely recommend staying here!!
