We stayed at the hotel for one night in 2024 and loved it so much we returned for two nights this year. A fabulous hotel in a beautiful village. The staff are also super friendly and helpful. We ate in the restaurant on both evenings and our meals were delicious. Breakfast is also great with a wide variety to choose from. We used the spa facilities and I had a back massage. Absolutely amazing and would definitely recommend.

Two minor areas of feedback. There are tea facilities in the room but the only supplies left were camomile teabags. Would be great to have sachets of coffee and milk available. The roof top bar wasn’t open and it was inconvenient to keep having to go down to reception to ask for drinks. The hotel needs to consider an internal phone to reception so guests can order drinks or a waiter needs to pop up periodically to see if guests would like a drink.

Hotel is beautiful, filled with the art of a decorated Portuguese painter. (His son, the owner, is the architect of the building.) The staff were welcoming, far beyond helpful, despite there being some language challenges. The manager even invited me to go to a comedic play with her and her friends at the nearby municipal auditorium on the last night of my stay. The spa and the treatments I received were marvelous, so stress-relieving. The masseuse, Jacqueline, was very professional, yet charming and caring. The food at breakfast at at the restaurant was delicious and generous: the wait staff aware and helpful to meet some of my dietary requirements. It was a significant birthday trip for me and everyone went out of their way to make it a happy one for me.

Bathroom arrangement was a little strange—with curtains, not walls and opening a window proved challenging because of the retractable black-out screen. Finally, the advertised jacuzzi was not working.

The Boticas Hotel Art & SPA, is very friendly and welcoming hotel. The room was very spacious and clean. The dedication welcoming card was well appreciated. We had the opportunity to enjoy massage at the SPA, and recommended it. The request was for a couples ( full body relaxing ) massage. Both had the same opinion, it was well worth it. The restaurant, although a few hiccups, the restaurant manager took it upon him to correct it without me having to request anything.

During my stay we didn't have issues. But expected that the pools ( indoor and outdoor ) would be much bigger than they are in reality. There was not much to see from our bedroom window.

The hotel is really good, the staff is helpful, the facilities is great.

The bathroom is open, it means that, the sink in the room is terrible when you have to do your things.

Restaurant staff were a little inexperienced yet helpful.

Clean and modern

No outdoor areas. The tables and chairs by reception are enclosed outside so not really “outside”.. The artificial turf by the outside pool is tacky. A deck or outside tiles would look much nicer. The pool only opens at 8.00 so there’s no outdoor areas to do early morning exercise. The soundproofing between rooms is shocking! You can hear everything!

It is a wonderful hotel. We can’t find a problem with anything.

The rooftop area and pool is great for relaxing with a drink from the bar located on the rooftop. There is a secure garage under the hotel. The rooms are perfect. The breakfast is delicious and a massive variety of food.

The beds were very comfortable! The rooftop pool and bar was perfect. Exceptional service throughout the entire staff. My wife really enjoyed the cookies from the front desk.
