We enjoyed the location, near the river and park, with easy access to the historical center. The room size is fair, and the bed is quite comfortable. The cleaning lady was extremely friendly, and also the staff at the reception.

The hotel seemed understaffed. We had the half board, and the first dinner was chaotic. During the other days was better. But also during breakfast, the refill was bot fast enough. The pool was nice but small. difficult to get a chair, but this is more or less norrnal.

The room was comfortable on a high floor with views towards the river. Very centrally located for visiting the historic centre, roman ruins, hot drinking fountain, stepping stones etc. Friendly helpful staff. Excellent large clean swimming pool. Safe free parking

A little confusion as to the availability of the half board dinner options. Very little choice the first night but full menu the second.

We arrived as a group of 6 bikers, and on check in advised to put the bikes right in front of the hotel entrance as the cctv cameras covered that area.Extremely helpful and accomadating staff. The hotel is tastefully furnished, with a wonderful out side swimming pool, and also situated on the river Tamega, ideal for leisurely stroll's and sight seeing in the area.Highly reccomed.Would have liked to spend more than 1 night.Buffet breakfast amazing.

Not experienced ourselves as we didn't use the bar, but it seemed glasses were in short supply, and no small snacks available?... But once again the staff went out their way to address the problem.

We stayed at Aquae Flaviae as first point of cycling the N2 to Faro. Bikes were delivered here a day or so (before we arrived) by courier from rental at Bikeiberia & hotel stored them. 10 minutes after we arrived they put bikes in a secure conference room to store and set them up. Hotel were super helpful, friendly. Breakfast was great, rooms great, bed very comfortable & great location for a quick tour of the town/castle. Staff took photos for us as we set off in the morning. Super value for the high standard of hotel

Great view from room, great location too. Easy parking, excellent breakfast, very convenient for the Thermal Spa, lovely pool and a pool bar. Super friendly and helpful staff. Top marks for service.

Not the prettiest building but it is what it is, a modern hotel. It has everything you need to enjoy the local area.

Great place will stay again. Nice staff, professional, great restaurant, roomy clean comfy room, close to walking around old town and almost next door to the so and river park. Great price. Underground parking.

Our stay was too short. Try to spend two full days just for Chaves, more for day trips...

Excellent location for the centre of Chaves. Staff were very helpful. Swimming pool was good, and a great treat at the end of the day. Staff also allowed us to park motorcycles outside the main entrance for security.

Breakfast was excellent with a massive variety of breakfast goods The only thing I didn't like was the burners underneath the hot food were fumy and the smell wasn't pleasent.

The hotel is just outside the old town. It is right on the river. There is free parking. The room was spacious and comfortable with views of the river and if we craned to the side we could see the castle. Breakfast was great with specialties from the region as well as the basics. Very good value.

This is the second time we've stayed at the Hotel Premium and will probably stay again. Excellent location on the outskirts of town but only a 10 minute walk to the centre of the old town via a walk along the beautiful riverside. Fantastic staff and facilities, covered parking at no extra cost
